All you can eat ribs as a special. Th BBQ sauce was very good and although my sisters rack was I guess pretty fatty mine was perfect. IT also came with very good sides. our waitress was also SO nice and chatty! We loved it! We had a super great dinner together.

The idea was to take a couple of days off, on my own, to do nothing. I was prepared to be flexible and I didn't like some things although the place is really interesting. The staff is excellent, very helpful and nice. The manager is the best. She took the time to discuss my concerns and promised to work on... More

We stayed as overnight guests and expected breakfast as part of the B&B experience - although they added a fee to our room rate. Because there was a loud pre-wedding group eating together, we were less than excited to sit in the dining area. The server generously accommodated us by suggesting we sit in the front porch area on our... More

This restaurant has so much potential ... and I swear ... we had the hardest working server I've ever experienced. First ... when you walk through the front door you immediately notice the musty smell of a place that has experience water damage. But the setting and decor is beautiful. Don't dine inside if you don't want to put up... More

We recently had lovely dinner at the Spicer Castle. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was charming. The staff seemed quite casual - nevertheless, they were adequately responsive to the guests. The porch dining room overlooks Green Lake and we enjoyed a spectacular sunset over the water.

My husband found this restaurant while we were visiting in Minnesota. We sat outside on the patio with our dog. We were casually dressed, but felt welcomed by the staff. This restaurant had a great view of the lake. The food was very good, but one thing that it unique was that they serve honey butter and popovers with the meal.... More

My son looked at this as a possible wedding place. Nice atmosphere, small family kitchen. Nice enough for lunch or dinner. Nice view of beautiful Green Lake. Interesting old house with modern cabins on premises. Well worth a visit.

Our chapter of PEO traveled to the Spicer Castle for our Christmas social. The Castle was so festive with decorations and the staff were very helpful. We were able to tour the B&B rooms as well.

This is a very peaceful place. The restaurant served a great breakfast and a delicious dinner. We went out there in early spring, during the week, so there were not a lot of things to do. Our room was small, with a tiny bathroom. But it was fine for 2 people. There were small things that showed wear and tear,... More
