Honestly we weren't expecting much other then just passable food as we checked Apple Maps for anything that could fill our respective gullets.
What we got was much more - very sizable portions, fair and affordable pricing, and good tasting food. The owner is a joy to speak to and seemed to know everyone in the space.
The sandwiches were good, the fries and tots were good, the desserts (pie) were very good. The patty melt was huge.
The only complaint I had (and this is a small one) was that they use styrofoam containers and in the case of the patty melt, the heat generated by the sandwich caused the styrofoam to melt (likely into the sandwich). It tasted great but I'd prefer not to have melted styrofoam byproducts as part of my meal.
If they switch to a paper based product (or used wax paper) they wouldn't have this issue. All in all, though, a small complaint for a great place that we'd visit again.

Needed place to eat and this was close to road we were on. Between us ordered grilled chicken, salad, chicken livers, mashed potatoes and white gravy, okra and coconut cream pie. Everything was really good!!! Husband said pie was best coconut pie he'd had in ages. Owner was waiting tables, alone, due to waitress on vacation. She was swamped due to lots of patrons and carryout but she was very quick getting everyone's food out. Did have to wave her down to get drink refills but the food was well worth that. To top it off cost was unbelievable for this day and age. Haven't eaten that cheaply in years. Will definitely add this restaurant to my places to eat on way to Branson list.

We were hoping to stop at another place for lunch but it had closed down so we found Gramma Nell's in a nearby town. We really loved it and now it's on our list of places off Route 60. I loved the fried okra and wish I'd had room for one of their pies. Friendly service and good prices. We'll be back!

This was the worst possible customer service ever!! We order, through Door Dash. Kept waiting… The girl there was just going to leave for the night before she was going to call and let me know that they didn’t have a driver to deliver!!! Food was obviously cold… Will not be back to this place!!

Very friendly local cafe/diner. Perfect Small town eatery with good food and friendly service. Good selection of menu items including breakfast.
