Excellent location. Excellent service. Excellent food. Very clean and tidy. Immaculate cutlery & glasswear, which may sound silly but really makes a difference! Friendly horses in the neighbouring field :) We were recommended to come here on our way to stay at the Latimer Hotel....More

We went with a friend midweek for lunch (not booked) and sat outside. The service was efficient, the menu a sensible size and variety and the food well prepared and presented. Our meal was difficult to fault. My one criticism might be the wine list....More

In our experience, there are usually two fish options and these vary so it is best to call them and ask. Sorry I can't offer more help.

No, I 'm pretty sure they do not allow dogs inside. I have never seen any canines in the bar area. Remember - this is a fairly high class pub/restaurant & I'm sure (sadly for your sake) that dogs are not permitted.

Situated in leafy Flaunden in Hertfordshire, this award-winning gastro pub certainly looks the part. From the ivy-covered exterior to the cosy dining room with its beamed ceilings and open fires, the Bricklayers Arms is a charming eatery serving fine wine and Anglo French fare. Over the years the Bricklayers Arms has won critical acclaim from the Michelin Guide, the AA Pub Guide and the Good Pub Guide. It continues to impress local foodies and travelling gourmets with a passion for locally sourced food and warm, friendly atmosphere. Signature dishes include a selection of home-smoked fish with lemon and coriander butter; the home-smoked duck breast with duck liver mis-cuit; and the fillet of 21-day aged Bedfordshire beef served with green peppercorn flavoured brandy cream sauce.
