The food is great! Skip Tres Amigos! You've gotta try El Rodeo! Pleasant knowledge servers, great food! The salsa could be a bit better, and chunkier but I went let that stop me from returning!

Just blah…food wasn’t spicy & staff seemed bored at best. Very decorative place but the food was bland compared to the decor.
Beautifully decorated and large space with adequate seating for all sizes of groups. The services was accurate and attentive as well as friendly. The food was hot and fresh, many options on the menu for all.
For a guy from Texas, this was great Mexican food. Quesadilla and Fajitas was our food of choice. Amazing Fried Ice Cream
Great place to take your family. friendly hospitality and a warm atmosphere. The food is good and the prices are reasonable for a family night out.
The traditional, almost out of style Mexican decor first caught my eye. The food was very good as was the service. My friend got a huge Texas size burrito that looked really good , and he said it was delicious.
Spend the extra money for the special guacamole or the cheese dip. Chips and salsa are plenty. The taco salad, I ordered the child size, was filling. Crispy shell, lettuce, cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo and black beans. (I opted for no meat) my family...enjoyed the sizzling fajitas, chili relleno, burritos and shrimp fajitas. Service was very good and she kept our drinks and chips full. Great for large or small groups. Street parking.More
I’m a Texan and that by nature makes me a picky eater when it comes to Mexican food! So to say I was suspect when our host suggested Mexican was an understatement! But I was pleasantly surprised when we were served delicious chips and salsa....So far so good! Our waiter was so friendly and fun, and once we ordered our fresh hot food was ready in no time at all! We had a variety of really good food and the prices were extremely reasonable. Put this one on your list, folks!More
The service was okay. The food was okay; my husband makes a better Burritto. The salsa was runny. The chips were warm 👍 the interior is unique and clean. If it’s Convenient, I’d go again, but if not...it’s okay.
We visited El Rodeo Saturday night with my son, fiancé and granddaughter. It was a fantastic time and the food matched the time and atmosphere. The decor and food is very authentic. I had the full order of El Rodeo fajitas. They were very good....I received a very large portion; some of which I took home and ate this morning for breakfast. The steak/beef was very tender and a nice portion along with chicken. The chicken was all white meat and never had a bad or grisly piece. The grilled veggies were crust and tasty. My son knows one of the young men who own the place so he had the scoop on the homemade salsa he makes (not on the menu). There is a reason it’s not on the menu; it’s the bomb of explosion. We all love hot spicy 🌶 foods so we ordered a small bowl. It was the hottest, but tastiest salsa I have ever had. Very, very, very little goes a long way. Have drink (w ice) on hand! It was so good and I will ask for it again when we go. The table salsa is very good too and I ended up mixing a bit of the hot stuff with the table salsa and it was perfect. Dale had chimichanga and Edgar’s Nachos. Dale said both were very good but of the two his favorite was the chimichanga. It was nicely fried and lots of cheese! Zack had Edgar’s Nachos as well, but that is his normal routine order. We also ordered a large bowl of white cheese dip and it was so good! Service was superb! All the fellas there all spoke and was incredibly friendly. Gorgeous wooden, detailed, carved table and chairs make such an authentic setting and makes one feel as if they are in 🇲🇽 Mexico. With all four of us ordering an entree, plus one Edgar Nacho for take home, one child’s plate, white queso and five drinks we spent a bit over $50. I would highly recommend El Rodeo for singles, family, group or party as their accommodations are fitting for any.More
We joined a group of about 40 people for this party. Mexican food was very good. Service was excellent. Family owned restaurant and it shows. This business does not serve any alcoholic drinks.
A lot of people love El Rode as evidenced by tge dact that it is almost always busy. From that it Is fair to conclude tgat my opinion is probably a minority one. I personally think it’s too bland. When I eat Mexican I want...a little spice, and at least the opportunity for a bit of heat. For those who want no spice and no heat, this is your place. On the positive side, services is good, the food served quickly and the cost is modest.More
Gotta day, I ordered the fish tacos and it literally looked like a fish stick with shredded lettuce. We had 8 people in our party and the overall feeling was ehhhh not bad. Ordered a margarita (it is a Mexican Restaurant) they advised that they...don’t sell alcohol. Probably won’t come back to this particular restaurant.More
Nice place, Love there décor. I had a enchilada, and added a taco. it was a Tuesday, so Taco's were there daily special. Service was good. Food was very good. If I had so say anything bad about the place it would be. #1 No...Cheese Sauce with the chips, offered and charged $1.00 for tortilla's. Other than that it was a nice experience. Would I eat here again. YESMore
We have been having family dinners at El Rodeo for the past 13 years!! While the food is what I consider mediocre Mexican food, it is about tied with the other Mexican food restaurant in town. And since there are no NewMex style Mexican restaurants...in town that makes El Rodeo the best Mexican food in town (or some would consider tied for first). El Rodeo though has something other restaurants in town cannot give you and that is a colorful, calming, relaxing atmosphere!!! They have beautiful hand-carved chairs that are hand-painted I. The traditional Mexican villa styles and colors!! They make the place so inviting!!! Also they have a variety of booths and tables making a business luncheon an enjoyable experience, but also give the booth intimate experience!! The restaurant is also divided into very separated sections so that even in their busiest moments, the atmosphere still is not loud and crazy. They also have to private dining rooms available for large parties. Actually, after 13 years I finally saw what was “behind the double doors!!!” It was set up like a lovely hacienda patio type feel!! They even have a waterfall/fountain!! It was completely closed off and we enjoyed the great food and wonderful company!! The staff at El Rodeo has always been of the highest quality and the management is superb!!!! I would recommend El Rodeo to anyone for any occasion!!!More
