I have been here probably 6 times, when friends and family are in town. The wait staff are true artists. Great singing non-stop all while serving the customers without missing aa beat. The atmosphere is great and it is very entertaining. The food is pretty average but the singing is definitely the highlight here. Now I would recommend the dessert... More

Great little place. Had burgers and ice cream. Everything was good. The wait staff just breaks into song.

Our server was Karen, she was very very good waitress and very personable with a wonderful wonderful voice but when my husband got the bill he was a bit shocked at the price of the food. We missed that his chocolate shake was $6.99. Even if you want to "add" a soup OR salad with your meal it was an... More

6 of us for lunch last week April 19th. They weren't at all busy but it was early season. The patty-melt was apparently very good. Everything else was actually pretty average or poor. The BLT was mostly bread and fairly scant on the bacon. The chicken strips/corn dogs weren't even all eaten and Mels grilled ham/cheese/bacon sandwich was just OK.... More

I think we were very fortunate to have visited before the season began as I'm sure there will be lines to get in once the town is crowded. It's your typical diner fare and nothing in particular to write home about- the food was average and in fairness on a "Branson scale" I guess this made it very good. (A... More

We enjoyed Mel's diner. It was as advertised diner. We liked the chili burger and the sandwiches. The Ice cream looked great but we did not try it. The singing waitresses were a nice touch.

It is an entertaining place where your waitress or waiter will sang songs of your choosing from their list. The Ice Cream Sundaes and Banana Splits are huge and also very good. It is a place you must visit. Also you need to visit the little shops all around it. You will enjoy your time there.

Great entertainment - music and comedy - interaction with servers! Multiple malt and shake flavors! Typical diner food reasonably priced!

Decent place to eat with entertainment while you eat. All the wait staff sing various songs while you're eating. They will take requests as well.

We enjoyed our visit here and the meals have more than ample portions. The singing servers are a nice treat and everyone we heard was wonderful. They take requests and Karen's version of "The Rose" was absolutely beautiful. Lots of memorabilia on the wall's and a nice gift shop as you exit.

Thank Pru M
