Great Italian restaurant, quaint and quiet. Food and service are incredible! St. Louis landmark. Two great locations. Highly recommended

It is tough to rate a restaurant in this area since there is little to choose from in the area right around St Louis Lambert airport. So Massa's can be a welcome relief if you find yourself in an airport hotel and don't want to eat hotel restaurant fare. Plus its Italian food so one man's feast is not worth... More
My first impression when you walk in is that the tables are right at the entrance, so if you have people waiting for a table, there backsides are right in your face if you have to be the ones sitting at that location. Second...it was so dark and had way too much dark red, and the decor was hideous. A... More
I visited Massa's (Old Place) in October, and it was an unexpected surprise on this business trip. One of my associates and I needed a somewhere near the airport for a casual dinner and we consulted Trip Advisor to find Massa's. The "Old Place" has been around for about 40 years, the building is hard to find (One Uber driver... More
This is not Italian food. I am Italian, this is the equivalent of chef boyardee & frozen pizza. Terrible service, slow & the waitress talk to each other over four tables, terrible interior, noisy. Those that are giving this a higher rating want copious amounts of food with no taste, cheap and no Italian heritage.
If you like Italian food, this is it. The place is not easy to find, however it's worth the effort! Small but Great! The food, the service and the salad - the best!
This small family owned restaurant has been in business for over 30 years. They have at least 4 other locations, however, the Bridgeton location on Lindbergh Boulevard is the original. Definitely a "Hole in the Wall", but do not let that stop you from going in. Dark and small. One expects to find Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin enjoying a... More
Great Italian Food, not too pricey. It was extremely crowded we had to wait a while for a table. If you have a big group I recommend making reservations ahead. This was a spur of the minute decision for us, but still had a great time.
My husband and I go to Massa's for special occasions. We eat out frequently, so are not impressed with pricey, pretentious restaurants. Massa's has wonderfully prepared food, good service, and reasonable prices. We have been coming to this location for years, and will continue to do so as long as they are there!
