I was an invited guest to a birthday high tea. I had reasonable gluten free food but I did feel a little envious if all the wonderful food morsels served to the others. My gluten free board came out first which was fine. It contained half a cheese sandwich, a party pie, a mini cake, a protein ball and a... More

We have dined at Rivers for both breakfast and lunch. Each visit started with a smiling homely welcome and the attentive service continued throughout our visits. Their team work well together to give you a good experience. All the meals we have tried have been original in presentation, quality and a good size. At busy times, the noise could worry... More

Visited on Anzac Day. We were seated quickly even without a booking. We ordered the brioche burger (with side of toasted potato bites) and the farmer's breakfast. My other half said his brioche burger was the best breakfast he has had in a very long time! And my farmer's breakfast was fantastic. The best slow cooked beans I've ever had... More

I have been coming to Rivers Cafe since it first opened and it has certainly got better with age. The staff are familiar which means it must be a good place to work. The pot bread is to die for and they always accommodate my request for more aioli and pesto.

I went for a weekend late lunch with a girlfriend and my 4 year old son. We sat in the beautiful enclosed patio overlooking the duck pond, which made it a great venue and while busy, not every table was full so the service was attentive. We love looking around at all the plants, knick knacks and poking into all... More

Busy atmosphere, place surrounds man-made lake with ducks you can feed and is part of a Nursery. We went for brunch just recently and enjoyed it so much,we invited friends to meet us for brunch the following week. It was on a Sunday and I recommend you book a table because it can get really busy (and noisy). There is a great choice of dishes to suit most tastes. The food is well presented without being pretentious... More

We came here for lunch on our last day in Australia. We have been here before so we knew the food was good. But this time it just blew us away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Straight away asking what we wanted to drink. Food was delicious and didn't take too long to arrive. As we were outside we enjoyed... More
