Ate lunch here recently and sampled some good german wurst and kraut. The 4 cheese mac n cheese is also very good. Nice to visit the winery next dour and then relax in the restaurant.

This restaurant is in with Stone Hill Winery. We only visited the restaurant and was very pleased. The food was served quickly and the service was great! The view as you walk into the restaurant is just amazing, even in February. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant

The food and services were above our expectations. Really good sampling of German food. I would recommend to eat here while doing the wine tour.

We stopped for late afternoon appetizer and lunch for 4 of us. We had a variety of soups, appetizers and sandwiches. The French onion soup was good, but not in the best ever class. The pretzel sticks were very good, as they were served warm and fresh. The German meat plate appetizer was ok, but the meat samples were on... More

This was our first time not only taking a train from St. Louis to Hermann, MO, but it was so much fun visiting the unique restaurants and wineries there! The first place we chose to visit was the Vintage Restaurant with the Stone Hill Winery right across the way. The food was wonderful, the staff was friendly, and the Christmas... More

You can eat German food in a converted horse barn. Service was good and food was too. Be sure to take the free winery tour.

We made reservations on a Friday night in October and I was glad they did. The restaurant was hopping when we arrived. They had a booth ready for us and we were immediately seated. The meal was wonderful. We also had wine flights. I would highly recommend.

Very nice dinner with some good basic/popular German selections. They also had non-German selections. Substitutions were made easily. We were unsure of which wine we wanted to pair w/dinner so our waitress let us try two. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.

First, try to schedule your visit away from lunch crowd. Seems they don't have enough staff to handle the winery tours that flood the place. Our service was terrible and I heard of others receiving the same. The food was average. I should also include our visit was during slow season.
