We visited for a family dinner and the place was thronging with rowdy children. Even our kids were dismayed. We asked for a quiter table - there were many unoccupied - but were told they were all reserved and the restaurant was full, although only five tables had diners. We left without eating. Wish for a dinner where you can... More

We visited for dinner when staying at Le Cadran Solaire hotel as it was our first night and only a ten minute walk. Between the four of us we had pizza's and pasta and the food was ok. The grande pizza's are huge and tasted good but the base was soggy and could have been crisper. The pasta was good... More

Very good food, fresh and tasty, large portions. The staff was very nice, prompt service. Did not like the glass of wine, I had red. It is a bit far from the city center and the exterior might not be very attractive but inside they do have a pretty garden, it is worth the trip.

Giant portions of pasta but quite tasteless. My Pasta Carbonara was clearly made with a lot of cream instead of eggs and cheese, making the taste very flat.

This place is "ok" to eat when you are very very hungry, not what someone would expect from a French restaurant with italian twist. Overall the wine was superb and the cheese of my pizza was also excelent (Some Roquefort cheese), but this is not something the restaurant actually does, this my complete respect to the wine maker and the... We were recommended to eat here and when we drove past we weren't too sure - it is behind the Renault garage off a roundabout, down a road in a trading estate, looks like a office building from the front.... However inside there was a dining area and a garden area with a small swimming pool which looked more decorative.... More

The L’Olivier is a restaurant & pizzeria. It was always full of French locals and had a great ‘buzz’ to it. We had three good visits at reasonable cost eating a variety of dishes including duck, Gambas (prawn), pizza, pasta and excellent desserts. The owners and chef spoke little English and we speak little French, but everyone was very friendly... More
