We were scared off by the somewhat blasé reviews, but tonight's meal was really delicious. Very attentive service, and such a beautiful view of the crashing waves!

With nothing in between you and the sea except a quiet beach the location of this restaurant is perfect. The fish is always fresh and of the best quality, I've been coming for the last decade and not once have I had a bad meal. Rustically served meals let the food do the talking.

Best location on the beach but mediocer food and service. The lamb we ordered was unseasoned and took condiderable chewing.

Enjoyed two meals here this week, with a beautiful view. Staff were really accommodating, and both food and service were excellent. Highly recommend.

Nothing nicer than fresh fish by the sea. Huge quantities of yumminess at reasonable prices. If they could only find the dimmer switch for the lights, it would be perfect.

No, roast leg of lamb is not the sort of dish you would expect to be tucking into at a beach-side restaurant in one of the last fishing villages in the western Algarve. But it was a chilly night in March, it was on the 'specials' list, and it turned out to be very good indeed. Restaurante Boia was once... More
