We had brunch at this local eatery. I had a ham and egg croissant sandwich which was very good. My husband had the breakfast casserole which he liked. The portions are huge. The pie was ok. The coffee was excellent. Try the You Say Tomato blend if available. This is a small dining room in an old grocery store. They... More

I have been here several times over the last 3 years or so and they NEVER disappoint. The Breakfast Flatbread is an absolute must-try, but don't worry if you'd rather go for their Croissant or perhaps a giant Pecal Wheel, you will be equally pleased. One of my very favorite breakfast places in all of KC. On my most recent... More

My kids got great breakfast staples like eggs and toast, french toast, and an egg croissant. My husband and I got what we wanted, fun combos of seasonal local cusine. My favorite was a goat cheese and beet quiche. We also enjoyed the granola atmosphere.

This little off the beaten path hole in the wall is very unique but also very good. You must first wait in a long line to order and pay for your food, then try and find a table - good luck as this place is packed but worth the wait. Free coffee is always nice but your not going there... More

After much debate on where we would go for Sunday brunch, ( out of towners).. We happily settled with You Say Tomato. This corner restaurant brings you back in time and is reminiscent of a an old grocer/cafe. Let's skip to the Cinnamon Roll. Wow. I don't write reviews lightly.. Not too sweet, a little tease of salt, no frosting... More

Great recommendation by our Airbnb host. Good, fresh, locally sourced food and relaxed atmosphere. I had a butternut squash quiche, and it was delicious! Came with a slice of fresh watermelon that was perfect! Asked a guy that worked there, maybe the owner or manager, for suggestions on places to visit and he gave us several suggestions. Very friendly, awesome... More

Really fun quirky atmosphere. Fabulous food. Order at the counter and then have a seat, the staff will bring your food to you. Staff is super friendly. When I was there I ended up having a great conversation with the owner. We will definitely make this one of our regular stops when we are in town.

Quirky is a great way to describe this restaurant. Not your typical breakfast offerings but the dishes were well seasoned and the lattes were solid. We'll be back.

Went with some friends for breakfast . I had heard of this restaurant but had never been there. Loved it ! Off the beaten track . In an eclectic area of town . Menu varied . Priced reasonable . Good service. Highly recommend .
