This place feels like home, is warm and comfortable with great brunch and excellent cocktails. Gotta have brunch on Saturday or Sunday and then step across the street for some beer tasting!!!

They have a small-ish building, but the food is fantastic. We arrived around 10am and had to wait 20 minutes for a table of 5. They menu is small but again, everything on it is very, very delicious. Vegetarian options are available. Fresh squeezed juice and basic coffee available, no lattes here.

Happened upon this place after a less than pleasant time at the urban winery....and it turned the day around. Sat at the bar and had wonderful conversation with some really lovely people. Had some delicious kale dip and some drinks till they closed at 4. The decor is charming, it is clean and inviting and staffed with wonderful people.

What a quaint place. We saw this while walking down the street. We stopped for lunch and the menu was interesting. Excellent homemade soup and sandwich. Very enjoyable.

I was busting from out of town and we were shooing in the West Bottoms for First Friday. A friend told us about this place and its unassuming from the exterior but the food packs a punch. We all had some fun craft cocktails and a delicious lunch. Kale/cheese dip with griddled bread was amazing! I had the burger with... More

A gem of Kansas City and a must visit. Food is fresh, local, creative, tasty. It's located in the stockyards of Kansas City which has turned into a a vintage shopping Mecca that utilizes the 19th century building, several other return acts and an Art Galley. This location is called the West Bottoms as it runs next to the Missouri... More

Well we tend to eat at the same places a lot. Decided to check out something different. Online 2015 said burger and Bloody Mary were a good choice. Husband had the bloody I had mimosa. Asked for spicy bloody. Well... underwhelmed by it. Usually have zing zang doctored ... This one was extremely bland. Defiantly not in a zing zang... More

Pleasant, refreshing and enjoyable morning breakfast without the twins. Atmosphere was hip. Wife enjoyed the Avocado Toast and I ordered my favorite, Salmon Bagel. We both enjoyed the coffee. Good portions and we were not overly stuffed and felt full.

Great little place for breakfast. Very small menu, but make up for it in quality. The owner works right along side with her help. We ate at the bar so we were able to visit with her and get some history of the place. Found out we had eaten at one of her previous restaurants. We liked that one too
