Great food!

Visited before, so not first time. They've really expanded and it looks and feels clean and nice. Had the cheese curds, fried pickles and a special fried pepperjack cheese balls. Everything yummy, the ranch they serve with the appetizers is so good. I had the small sirloin with fries and coleslaw. I LIKE coleslaw and this was some of the best I've ever had. Creamy just a bit of tang. The steak was cooked perfect. Great flavor tender. Hubby had the ribeye, sooo good. Fries were hot and crispy. Our waitress was great. Drinks refilled food brought hot. Very nice wish I had gotten her name. Wednesday 3/4/2020 we were 8 of us in the back room. Great place we'll be back.

Solid, but average and a little pricy for the genre

Clean, excellent quick and attentive service (coffee refill without asking, for example). Clean restroom. I had the very good full portion size hot beef sandwich--so much I left the second slice of bread. I knew it would probably be too much, but I opted not to get the half size and spring for a side at $3.00 each.

Good Food and Getting BETTER!!!

This restaurant has been through some ups and downs. Right now they are making all the right moves. Offering specials almost everyday and new entrees that are very good. Their menu is so big and it almost has too many choices. Their BBQ is very good!!! The best hamburgers and chopped steak you will find. Hopefully they will pick up a 'filet' cut for a "better" steak (and I won't mind paying for it if it is tender). The backroom upgrade is so nice!

Bad food. Bad service. High prices.

A friend and myself went there for lunch. We both ordered the mushroom swiss burger with fries. The food came out and the fries were glistening with grease and were limp, not crispy. The burger was somewhat tasteless My friend wanted a refill on his drink and found the waitress at the counter doing something on her phone instead of checking on her tables from time to time. Won't be going back to this "choke and puke."

TOO PRICEY FOR GREASY FOOD!

Ordered double hamburger & fries, came with stale cold bun, had to pull off top bun and ended up eating with a fork, no choice to eat it with a fork! Fries were limp and greasy, lets see, $8.00 for hamburger and $3.25 for fries, cost almost $12.00 after taxes. Lastly, waitress and hostess were not friendly and they certainly did nothing toward giving any relief for the stale bread received, they did not care and I do not recommend this place, suggest you go to other restaurant on north end of town, much better food and atmosphere.

Hedy now if your hungry this is the place to go you have to have a very big appetite to order a hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy because it comes with a very large sandwich and 2 helpings of potatoes and gravy, suggest you order the 1/2 sandwich it covers the plate also these people don't mind feeding you service is good, neat, clean, 100's of coffee cups hanging from the ceiling tad on the high side but worth the price lots of parking, tables and counter service.

Great service! Great Food!

Ate at Keith's for lunch today. Ordered the breaded tenderloin! It was thick and cooked perfectly! They gave me horseradish and mayo which I mixed together and it made the sandwich pop! Topped it off with root beer and chocolate Oreo cream pie! The waitress was quick and friendly. This was a great place to eat. I'll be back.

Great Hometown Eatery!!

On business in town and were recomended this place by the locals. Were there on a thursday evening, and place was full so service was quite slow. Food was hot and fresh! staeks are A-1. surprise salad is very delicious and so are the appetizer of mushrooms

This hometown cafe is a staple in the Memphis community and well-known in the 100 + mile radius. Enjoy a throw-back in time with an open kitchen, and home made desserts daily. Worth the drive and tradition!

Great Food, Horrible Customer-Service!

I used to love this cafe and I have come here for years since I was a kid. The food is pretty good, but the last time I went (on my anniversary), I decided to tip the cook and discretely told him that our waitress (a thin, older woman with brown hair and glasses) had offered us continuously bad service on more than one occasion (refilling my beverage with mixed soda(s), leaving for five minutes + at a time, serving food without saying anything, giving me the wrong condiments on my sandwiches, and having a scowl on her face). He threw my tip at her and asked me to take it up with her, and she got incredibly snotty with me and made a scene (which is what I avoided doing, as to not upset nearby customers). I spoke with the owner (Andy Boyer) to raise concerns about my treatment, and he apologized on their behalf. I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone again, as nobody, particularly a loyal (and high tipping) customer, should be treated so rudely and inconsiderately. I may return someday if the staff get an attitude adjustment.

Pork tenderloin sandwich is the best

People drive from Iowa to eat at this restaurant that has been in Memphis for decades. The new owner has kept every thing as it was, including low prices and good food.
