The RSL Club provided a good Melbourne cup day with a BBQ lunch, steak and nice salads, gave everyone the opportunity to dress up. The bistro and bar staff were pleasant as was the club president

My husband and I had dinner here. It's a bit like walking into a time warp in relation to the building and decor. It seems the bistro ordering area is makeshift. Just a table with a table cloth on it and a cash register. We...More

We had lunch here several times and also a Group Evening Meal. Normally for lunch we had Toasted Sandwiches (for which there is a good menu) and Chips. Our evening meal was eclectic with many varied choices as there were 25 of us dining.

Fantastic meals and cheap. There's a great duo who entertained us with music. Great vocals. A fun vibe with all the workers I met. I went 3 times in a weeks stay in Norfolk Island.

Decor was nothing special but the service and food were good. They were busy but still coped well with the crowd.

Good food, great bar, beautiful views, friendly staff. There is also an interesting display of war memorabilia and photographs.

Went here for dinner on two nights. On the first the entertainer (a singer) was so loud it was painful and we left without ordering. On the second evening the volume was a lot lower so conversation was possible. The food was standard club fare...More

This is either very old, or for next year. No the RSL is not open on Christmas Day and the cafes that are open are very expensive. We self-catered and it was fine.

Don't know about the bistro, but I didn't think it would have any accommodation, as it is only an eatery.
