Always smoking something for lunch. Try the smoked brats or chicken wings. Inexpensive lunch and great service is a great combination.

Great Irish Pub in The Grove District on Manchester Road. Great, friendly staff, especially David the bartender. Excellent food, especially the burgers and fish and chips. Within blocks of Barnes Jewish Hospital and Shriners Children's Hospital. I wish I had a neighborhood pub like this in my city. If you are into trying a variety of beers, this is a... More

Love the atmosphere. This pub has the feeling of a neighborhood bar. The food was tasty and abundant. We will go back

I was driving and just wanted a beer before going to sleep at the hotel, so couldn't fully in joy the pub. Next time I take a cab to that section of town. Good selection of tap beers and pub games.

We visited O'Shay's in the popular Grove neighborhood for a very late lunch. There was only one other table occupied. So, the kitchen was far from slammed. Still, the fish in my fish and chips was greasy. It only would have taken a second to blot that grease up. It's more a matter of caring, in my opinion. My wife's... More

I dined here with my girlfriend looking forward dinner. We arrived to a mostly empty dining room, with two other tables occupied. We asked the server if she recommended the corned beef and cabbage or the hash. She disappeared for a minute and came back to tell us the other two table ordered all the corned beef. HUH?!? I watched... More

We had a late lunch here with friends after a day out downtown. It had great ratings on an urbanspoon app so we gave it a try. The atmosphere and decor is good. The music wasn't too loud to enjoy conversation, and the waiter/bartender was great. Recommended some good beers to try which we enjoyed. The macaroni and cheese soup... More

Our book club decided to meet at O'Shay's Pub last week as a nod to the St. Patrick's Day holiday nearly upon us. We had made a reservation for 12 people, and when the first folks in our group arrived the staff seemed to know nothing about the reservation. No worries since the place was empty, they scraped up a... More

O'Shay's has great ambiance, but the food was a disappointment. The menu had our party of seven anticipating a great late lunch. There was only one person in the front of the house, so he was stretched pretty thin between bartending and serving. It must have been 40 minutes between arrival and our orders being taken. The highly-reviewed fish and... More
