We ate at Trattoria Marcella Saturday evening around 5:15. The service was very good and the meal was also very good,. The only downside is we were seated in the back room next to the large picture window area. They apparently do not have thermal...More

This wonderful St. Louis landmark is always a great choice for any occasion. My wife and I celebrated her birthday, yesterday (July 5) and as is always the case, we weren’t disappointed. We each had a terrific meal, with a nice Barbera, a perfect salad...More

Lobster Risotto was missing the lobster! Very overpriced for a bowl of rice! The location is great. The service was ok. But very disappointed with the food.

For two decades, Trattoria Marcella has been one of our "go to" restaurants. We've never had a bad meal there. The owners, brothers Jamie and Steve, are there every day. The chef brother (Steve?) routinely travels to Northern Italy to bring back authentic recipes.

Some of the food was okay but not great. Service was exceptional. We had several different meals at our table. Large portions. Risotto was good, pasta okay, the person that had the meatballs was not impressed with them. Overall okay meal and I would go...More

I have always enjoyed coming to this spot. The location has grown and expanded into the building. When the spot first opened it was a tiny place with a small garden in the back that offered a boutique of Italian inspiration. Their willingness to use...More

It has a fantastic atmosphere. More than anything, this place reminded me of Kemolls wnen they were on Grand Avenue. It's a rabbit's warren of small rooms connected to small rooms. It's truly cosmopolitan. I saw people in jeans eating pizza next to people in...More

My last time at Marcella was many years ago with my Italian parents along for a trip. They felt it was some of the very best Italian food they have had in their 80+ years. It was this week that I was finally able to...More

We 100% enjoyed every aspect of our meal at Trattoria Marcella. Our party of six tried numerous appetizers, including the toasted ravioli, and found each to delightful. As for dinner, go with the lobster risotto, it is unbelievable good. If you don't like lobster, you...More

Spinach, garlic, parmesan and balsamic vinegar all together and in every dish don't transform a poor and makeshift cuisine in the real Italian cuisine. It's more American than Italian but it could be ok for who has never been to Italy!!!
