I started coming to this deli before I moved away from STL 16 years ago and every time I'm back in town it's one of the first places I stop to eat. I love their Shish-tawook sandwich - chicken, garlic sauce and pickle grilled to perfection but their fatayer and falafel are also excellent. The hummus and tabbuloah are delicious... More

This is a tiny hole in the wall sort of place. Not much atmosphere but delicious food. The people are very nice and have great suggestions of what to try if you're not familiar to their menu. Try the schwarma, falafel and hummus. If you have any room for dessert, the baklava is outstanding.

Hard to find place just off Delmar in the loop, but worth a few extra steps to find this place. This is authentic Lebanese food and we both had gyros and regret not being more adventuresome as the gyros were delicous. Restaurant is not large, and shows signs of it's age, but no problem as the food and service are... More

I regularly would visit this hidden gem when I worked on the Delmar Loop. If you get a Fatoush salad, ask for chicken to be added to the top. It's still one of the most delicious meals I've been able to order anywhere.

Carryout falafel, pita, tabouli and hummus is one of our favorite meals. Everything is delicious, and the staff is super friendly.

Al Tarboush, in the heart of University City, St. Louis, around the corner from Dunbar. It is a tiny hole in the wall type restaurant just one block from the famous Blueberry Hill restaurant. They only have room for three or four tables but they keep busy with a lot of carry outs also. This hard working family owned restaurant... More

Everyone that visits the Delmar Loop should visit Al-Tarboush, no questions asked. I probably eat at A.T. 3-5 times per week and the food is ALWAYS the same; fresh and delicious. My daughter absolutely loves the the spicy hummus. You really cannot go wrong with anything that you order. The shish-taouk is wonderful and the falafals are on point. If... More

We stopped here for a bite to eat craving some genuine Lebanese food. We were in for a real treat! It was authentic and delicious. The place isn't the nicest of atmosphere, but the food makes up for what that lacks. It is worth stopping in.

The food is good, the menu brief, the atmosphere:early college student. Not the place I would go, as a tourist to experience St Louis.
