I've seen a lot of good things about this place but I just wasn't impressed. The crust was good but the sauce wasn't.

You can never go wrong with eating at any Imo's restaurants. This is one pizza place I def feel all should visit when visiting the STL.
Hotel staff recommended Imo's. We had it delivered to the room. Pizza was still nice and hot, great taste, fair price. Clerk messed up phone order (left the chicken off the salad), they sent a replacement right over, no charge. My son the picky eater loved it, as did I. He asked for it again the next night.
By far the worst pizza I have ever had. Not 1 redeeming quality including having to wait 45 minutes for it to be made. I am baffled as to how anybody else rated it higher. I don't know what sauce and cheese they use but it is most certainly not Italian. Never never again.
We had to visit an IMO's Pizza and we stopped by the one in Downtown St. Louis by Forest Park. The Pizza was piping hot when it arrived at the table just as it always has been in the years I lived in St. Louis. Even my husband who is originally from Louisville loves this cheesy thin crust Pizza! Yummy!
STL tradition pizza with provel cheese (maybe not a real cheese but is so good and original), Toasted Ravioli and if you are not a big fan on any of these delicatessens, get Imo's spacial sandwich warm, or any pasta dishes or any lunch special (that are huge) you will be happy with the result.
We stopped by for lunch and it was very busy inside! Ordered the lunch specials with the pizza and garlic cheese bread. The pizza was thin crust and tasty but because of the crowds, it was noisy and a bit messy.
Took the in-laws here because they had fond memories of this location. The pizza was horrible (very little cheese), and the spaghetti (which was first delivered as mostacioli - then had to wait another 10 minutes to get what I ordered) made spaghetti-o's seem like gourmet. If you're looking for good Imo's pizza, try somewhere else.
