Traditional celtic pub atmosphere, great food, AWESOME traditional Irish music on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm. Very hospitable staff. A hot buttered whiskey drink that was incredible. We will spend a lot of Sunday evenings there!

My wife had the opportunity to dine in this once private club, now opened up to the public and raved about the food. I ventured out last week with here to find out what she was yaking about. Old world charm is all around you as you enter this establishment, located in the heart of the new Tech center of... More

The family was in town and looking for a place to eat, was directed here. It was afternoon and place had a few regulars in. The bar tender/waitress was there to help with our selections, she was vert attentive. I had the sheppards pie and potato bacon soup and they were awesome. They cooked a special meal for my son... We chose this restaurant during our brief stay visiting a couple in St. Louis and our party of four immensely enjoyed our cocktails, appetizers and entrees. The Scottish eggs are very shareable as there are about eight pieces and were delicious. Highly recommended are the tender pork shank, shepherd's pie and venison. The multi paged scotch menu is impressive.

The one guy in a kilt, needs a bigger kilt, it didn't fit. Second, the kitchen was slow. Third, the biscuits were salty. Lastly, if they let you order off of their normal menu, at brunch, it would have been much better. The last time, before this one, that I had been here, was 3 years ago.

We were in town for Homecoming/Parents Weekend and have just started to get to know the St. Louis area. A very pleasant surprise was brunch at Scottish Arms. The food is great, especially the highland hangover - a wonderful assortment of Scottish food, but please make sure you are hungry - portions are generous! My family had the daily hash... More

My husband is from Edinburgh- The Scottish Arms is the only place around to enjoy Scottish dishes. The Haggis Fritters are delectable. Their fish chips are comparable to what your get across the pond ;both in size AND taste). Their meat comes from local farms, which is nice to hear. Their whisky selection is second to none around. Oh and... More

My husband and I went here for dinner - trying something new in the CWE. We were not disappointed. We bought thought our dinners were excellent (haggis, chicken & leek cornish pasty). The service was lovely and we had a great time. Dim restaurant made for a romantic dinner.

Choosing a place that is slightly off the main stream of St. Louis - Scottish Arms was a nice, quiet and lovely dining experience. Greeted at the door and seated immediately - we ordered a half price beer (Happy Hour) and dinner. The Urban Chestnut Black Pumpkin Ale was excellent and the Fish and Chips - generously portioned, very fresh... More

We went to dinner at the Scottish Arms last week and were told that they were debuting a new menu that evening. It did look different from what was posted on their website, but not any significant removals - just some additions. The menu is a bit of a mixed bag - appetizers looked delicious, but the entrees seemed to... More
