Kayak's is another coffee shop owned by Kaldi's. They know coffee. The barista's are always happy to recommend a coffee if you ask and they are extremely knowledgeable. Large location inside with outside seating as well. Starbucks would go out of business if it were located next to a Kaldi's (Kayak's) coffee shop. There is no comparison.

We always enjoy a visit to Kayak's when we are in St. Louis. The coffee is fantastic, food is delicious and the staff are friendly. My son highly recommends the chocolate chip French toast.

Currently sitting here watching the traffic eating a delicious breakfast pizza (one of the best I've ever had even without meat) and a matcha tea. Great atmosphere and friendly workers. Not too busy either.

Located on the corner of Washington University in St Louis right next to the Skinker metro station, this place attracts a lot of the university crowd. The ambience is great for a leisurely meeting over coffee, or even to simply sit and work while keeping yourself from starving! The staff are pleasant and quietly efficient. The menu, while not extensive,... More

Wonderful to sit outside in February and enjoy the sun even on a windy day at this cafe! The seasonal Turkish latte was delightful as I enjoy the cinnamon and cardamom spice mix. The crust less quiche was light and the spinach salad had a delicious dressing! Only wish the toast wasn't cold. Very busy and packed with students taking... More

Kayaks sits across from the university (one of them, at any rate), and next to the Metro station (Skinker), on the corner by Forest Park. Coffee and food is reasonable, and there's usually space to sit, despite being in a busy location. Features outdoor seating as well.

Immediately adjoining Wash U, this feels like the best coffee in the area. Very good sandwiches and breakfast foods. We'll eagerly go back.

I am writing in pure frustration because this is one of my favorite local businesses; yet they've for some odd reason been reported as MOVED! This is an error; a huge error. No, I take that back. It's a lie. Yayaks is a large cafe located across from Wash. U at the corner of Skinker & Forest Park. They offer... More

Large, centrally located, friendly staff, good food and coffee with a mellow vibe conducive to study or low key conversation...that's what I experienced last Sunday when we popped in after the Zoo.

Nice place to meet others and chat over a coffee. They also serve decent sandwiches, flat-bread pizzas and pastries, all at reasonable prices. A great buzz about the place that I really love!
