In planning our visit to St.Louis, I was looking for place different from one back home (PA). The Lemp Mansion offered a wonderful sitting for a great dinner. We were greeted and seated us promptly. We never lacked for attention. Although the veal schnitzel and...More
Service was ok to good. The chicken was hot and not greasy, but the sides were strange. The mashed potatoes and gravy had way too much salt, 2 hours later I am still thirsty. The green beans were in a soup of thick gravy, and...More
By the time we got here it was closed. Not only the restaurant the whole place was locked down. So here's my suggestion get there before 2:30 pm and after 5 pm. Owners apparently not on site.

This family style eatery is well known to the St Louisian, but to the tourist, It is a novelty to eat in a "haunted mansion". The food is your basic wedding reception family-style fare. Plenty of beef, chicken, ham, mac-n-cheese,cole slaw, corn, green beans and...More
Had a chance to have dinner as a family in this beautiful mansion. The service was top notch and the food was outstanding. Huge portions and prepared perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant and the history inside makes the visit even more fun.
