Food is solid, and burgers are GREAT. Large and fresh. Chips are homemade. Portions are all large. Bar scene after dark.

My most recent experience here was my best. The potato skin appetizer was delicious, above average and we got that plus 3 pints of Blue Moon all for $15 which is really good value. Am raising my rating on this place as a result. Look...More

Sandwiches we had were okay but too greasy. Its a bar too but I don't drink so I probably wont go back.
We wanted something different for dinner than a chain restaurant. What a great experience. My wife had the fish and chips-very tasty and nice breading. I had the best Reuben ever. The waitress said they buy the whole corned beef and slice it themselves.
I'm not much of a bar frequenter, but Shamrocks is a good choice for a casual get-together. A beer afficianado will appreciate all the options, and the fare is not just the usual bar food.
This place has slightly eclectic bar fare. Definitely not your typical pub food. The steak salad is exceptional and the selection of beers is quite good.
