We ate there on a Friday night and, as expected, it was crowed. The food is good and the prices are fair.

I have eaten at Golden Corrals, all over the country. The one in Hays Kansas is outstanding. This one is not. It is terrible. The deserts kept this from being a '1'. Fried chicken was too salty and over done. Steak would make a good hammer. Every vegetable I tried was cold...including the creamed spinach. Fried shrimp was all breading.... More
Used to like to go here once in a while, mainly for the shrimp... last time we were there, the place was filthy, and the food was not very good. Probably will not return until they clean it up
Balanced to Very Good rating. Waitress and Manager were above Excellent. Food- well its Golden Corral with lazily food servers. Never were at the cut meat section. Grilled shrimp was dried as a popcorn fart. And never could get tortillas even after leaving the lid off the case 5 times to watch the guy just put it back on and... More
Walked in with 8 people and a 15% off coupon for that store and I was told they have new owners and do not accept any coupons. I said, are you not going to accept our coupon and let us walk. His answer was YES and we are doing quite well without accepting them. It was a birthday celebration for... More
We hosted an evening class at the Golden Corral in Sedalia MO. The food selection was so wide no one could eat even a little bit of everything! We were not interrupted during our class so everything about this restaurant was good.

Most of the food was on the food bar too long and had little seasoning. Positives: friendly waitress, good medium rare steak, shrimp... More
The steakhouse my dad wanted to go to was closed for Labor Day, so we went to Golden Corral. There is a great selection of most every cuisine; Mexican, Chinese, seafood, American, there might be more, but that is all I remember. I didn't eat as much as usual, but I was so full I couldn't even eat dessert and... More
The place was very busy and the selection of food was really a mess with food mixed with each other and no one was cleaning it up and a lot of food was out. When you pay that kind of price you expect the food to be separate from each other and have food ready for you. Dirty plates on... More
The food is pretty good actually, but the problem is the grazing that goes on. It's not very appetizing to have people digging through the food you might want. I think it is really expensive also for what you get - our family of 5 will spend about $70 for us to eat here. I think the restaurant could be... More
