Excellent Service!!

I’m visiting this area in Springfield, MO, and ordered pizza from this location. I had it delivered and the door dash driver had an accident with the pizza and it was ruined. I called this pizza location and the shift manager named Maddie recooked and personally re delivered our pizza to our hotel and delivered some delicious samples of the cookies they make. It was about an hour later than dinner was expected but it was the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve received from a business in a long long time. Thank you to Maddie for saving our family dinner and turning a bad experience into an excellent one. I promise to tell all my friends in MO about this awesome service!!

Great place to take kids

I’ve reviewed this place before, but everytime I go it gets better. My favorite part was that my kids got to play with pizza dough while they waited. I got the Italian salad and added in chicken, my son got pasta, and my kids got a mini pizza. The secret here too is in what you order! Always go for the special pizzas, as they make it different than the average place. Fun to watch them toss the dough too!

Now that's good pizza!

We stopped on a Saturday at noon and ordered a meat lover, small, and a build your own, also small. The thin crust on the ML was perfect and the toppings were plentiful. The build pizza was equally good, and the service was prompt and friendly. Great atmosphere and a definite must stop next trip to Springfield.

Don’t bother lousy service and food

We went there for lunch today, the first thing the server said was excuse my 21-year-old brain. I think that much had a hangover. We waited a while for her to come back with our drinks, and I ordered a Caesar salad and we we ordered a pizza with extra sauce extra cheese. We when I got my salad it was a Greek salad. I couldn’t find the waitress site. Another young server came over and got me the right salad, but that salad didn’t have any dressing on. It still couldn’t find our server so again the young man helped me and brought me some dressing. When we got our pizza, there was no sauce on it and it was a really bad experience and we won’t go back

Very sorry about your experience. As you can see, this is not the usual review that we get. We are known for great service and for generous toppings on the pizza. Looks like we drop the ball here and I’m sorry please get a hold of the manager, Max and he will make it right for you. Thank you.

Certainly nowhere close to the high reviews it has on Trıpadvisor

We went there Sunday evening and ordered a pizza and eggplant parmesan baked dish. First off the place is filthy. Floors littered with food and napkins . Second service is slow but I was expecting that having experienced eating there before. Third the waiter was quick to take our order but never checked on us unless we called and he was continuously rubbing his nose and touching his face all the time we were there. Totally gross and made me lose my appetite. The food; pizza was ok, very bland, but the eggplant parmesan bake was inedible. The breaded eggplants tasted stale (the breadcrumbs) and it was just a swamp of tomato sauce and cheese with two pieces of rubbery eggplant coated with stale breadcrumbs. I don’t think I will be going back there again. I can forgive meciocre food but hygiene is inexcusable.

Such a great place. We gathered with friends outside in the parking lot, despite our dancing and music they were accommodating to say the least. They served us the best drinks in a rather fast time despite them already overflowing with customers, and delivered several delicious varieties of pizza all in record time. Not our first time, but we will be coming again.

Bad service and bad pizza!

I am a pizza lover and have eaten at about every pizza place in town and this one was mediocre. They were slow at lunch time and it took almost 20 minutes just to see our server to order and almost 1 hour to get our pizzas. My wife got a small and didnt even eat half of it! Mine was bland and really was lower in taste then (i hate to say it) little ceasers and that is hard to say. There is much better pizza resturants in town with much better service so dont waste your time and money! Side note.. waiter was nice and might even of been the bartender. I am not a drinker but they seem to have a big beer selection.

AMAZING FOOD EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

I was absolutely craving pizza after my run at Bass Pro in Springfield Missouri and y’all didn’t disappoint this Tennessee gal with some made from scratch pizza. Our server Stephanie was extremely helpful in navigating the menu and helping us choose what our tastebuds would love. She brought our kids dough to play with which they loved & some ice cream once they finished their personal kids pizza!! If we lived local we would make this a weekly stop! Thanks Pappos for the full tummy and the great experience! Also hats off to the chefs!

Leaves something to be desired

My family and I were visiting Springfield from out of state and wanted to try a local pizza establishment. We read the reviews on trip advisor and decided to give this a try. While the pizza was tasty, the service and price left much to be desired. Our server was efficient but not friendly. The pizza was good but pricey. Both of these factors would keep me from going back.

Good food and great service

The Garlic Cheese Bread is okay but don’t fill up on it. Pizza is the name of the game. The Big Hawaiian is very good - caramelized pineapples make the difference. The Meat Lovers is loaded! If Canaan is your server, your glass will never run dry and the conversation will be enjoyable. Ask for Canaan by name and prepare to eat too much.

Family friendly, large menu, variety of beers

Great place to visit with younger kids. Had coloring mats plus each child got to play with pizza dough while we waited for food. Decent size menu. Our party had a variety of pizzas and pastas. Hand tossed crust was by far the fave. We were able to get a seat with no wait and dine in tables were properly social distanced. Masks were mandated and everyone followed the rule. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Upon other TA reviews, we added on the chocolate chips cookies and WOW so glad we did. It did take quite awhile for those to be brought out but were thoroughly enjoyed. Great place for pizza and would return if in the area again.

Loved this place.

WOW, what a great place for pizza. My husband and I split a salad, and a thin crust pizza, which was one of the best pizzas we have ever had. Salad was excellent also. And leave room for the cookies. We did not, so we got some to go, and they are great. Loved this place and will recommend it to friends visiting Springfield.

Great pizza, great service

We typically dine here once a week for lunch, service is prompt, food is always fresh and good. Whitney waited on us last week, great server, she's very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. Have also enjoyed a football game on Sunday afternoon in the bar as well, good times, good appetizers.

Best pizza in town for vegans and celiacs alike!

The food is delicious and the customer service is always on point. Our most recent visit we had Erica as our server and she was very understanding with our food allergies. They have a gluten free crust that my celiac wife enjoys and I really like their vegan cheese and variety of ‘veggie’ toppings. Thanks again Pappo’s!

This is great choice for pizza. With plenty of options including pasta, calzones, and a make your own pizza section that breaks down types of crusts, sauces (Warning: the buffalo is HOT), veggies, etc. The service was excellent. Our waitress brought a friend an amazing birthday treat as well.
