If you're traveing through southcentral Missouri and find yourself near Truman Reservoir, it's only a stones throw from Warsaw. It's origin as a riverboat town, the old quarter today supports several antique shops and restaurants. Of those restaraunts, The Common Ground is far from what it's name might imply. The building, once an old hotel has been converted and decorated... More

So I have had lunch at Common Ground several times a year for the past few years. Stumbled in on day as I needed to kill some time. Once inside, the first thing you see is the elaborate woodwork. The building has been restored splendidly. Walk around and see the craftmenship that went into place here. Next sit down and... More

This is an extremely interesting place to dine, and I mean that in a good way! The restaurant's interior is very unique. You'll want to have a look around and explore a bit after you place your order. Service was fast, and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Salads and hot sandwiches seem to be the... More

After searching TripAdvisor for a good place to stop for lunch, we chose this place. Everything was so good! The Reuben, the desserts, service and atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Loved this place, great sandwiches our family had 4 different ones and each one was amazing! Also had apple crisp and vanilla ice cream. Defiantly try it out. Atmosphere was great! Beautiful decor.

The workmanship at the Common Ground is stunning. No smoking and the atmosphere is calm, with staff that are very nice. A great deal of the food they prepare is healthy. You will not find coke or other carbonated drinks here. The Greek salad is excellent and they make a tuna sandwich unlike any other you have had. Well worth... More

Not only great roads for your Corvette to cruise, but a perfect lunch stop. As the name implies-a great place to park next to a farm truck on one side and an oldsters huge old Buick on the other side. Common Ground! The decor is beautiful and woody! The food is awesome, reasonably priced and made on site. The wait... More

This is a great place for sandwiches. Been several times and they have always been good. They steam the meat and melt the cheese which makes it a better sandwich. The interior is very unique with interesting woodwork. They do limit their menu to natural items so the soda selection is unique but the ice tea or water are great.... More
