The outside was almost a deterrent for us as it looks a little sketchy but we are so glad we went in. The sushi was fantastic and we regretted not ordering that as our main dish. Our entree soup was also fantastic though so all was well. Our waiter was great and our glasses never came close to being empty.... More

The staff is courteous and friendly, the service is great, and the ramen is to DIE FOR! I've been to a decent amount of ramen restaurants, but this one will always stand out. Watanabe adds a great mix to the cuisine of south Montana. If you're passing through the Treasure State, then this is a treasure you HAVE to try... More

Authentic cuisine, great service. Hours are restrictive so make sure to check before heading there. Sushi is delightful, as well as their bowls. Great prices, usually about 25$ for the two of us. My favorite place in Bozeman.

Small eatery place. Menu was bare minimal. No sushi served during lunch. Soft shell crab was tiny. Teriyaki chicken was way overcooked and tough to bite. Noodle's broth seemed to be made from soup paste and way too salty (lots of msg). Waiter seems kinda rude bringing the check in the middle of our meal.

The most authentic Japanese restaurant in Bozeman. The food is out of this world. Sushi, Udon, Chicken Katsu and the sauces and soup broths are amazing. I believe all are made from scratch. Cozy dining area and great staff. If you love Japanese food, then you must try this place. It is the best.

Went there for lunch couple days ago. I ordered an appetizer, love the gyoza! For main menu we ordered chicken bowl yakiniku and shrimp yaki udon. They were awesome! Laid back enviroment, friendly service. Will come back again!

My husband and I went to lunch here before getting on the road. I had the pork ramen and my husband had a chicken teriyaki type dish. Both were very good and our server was very prompt and friendly. I would love to have tried the Udon as well, but will have to wait for the next time in Bozeman.

It's been kind of hit and miss for this place. Sometimes it's really good, and sometimes it is simply awful. I will go back a couple of times to see if there's any consistency either way....but for the time being, all I can really say about it is it's quiet, cozy, and that's all well and good......time will tell on... Traditional, no- frills Japanese food, the way it is in Japan, not California. Basic rolls that really bring out the flavors and textures of the ingredients, excellent tempura, very generous portions. Very nice people. Japanese people eat there.

This is a small Japanese restaurant on west Main street in Bozeman. The food, service, and atmosphere are great, I have eaten here many times and always left happy. I think the sushi is much better than the other touted sushi restaurant in Bozeman.
