Four of us had crab cakes and quesadilla appetizers. They were excellent and the portions were very generous. Our entrees were the filets and duck breasts. They were delicious. Our waitress, Kathy, was delightful. Do not go if you're in a rush

Joined the in laws for mother in laws birthday dinner. Appetizers were so-so,nice wine and beer selection. Salads were generous in sz and all dressings homemade but one, ranch. The blue cheese dressing was truly wonderful. Hands down the most tender fillet I've ever had and I order my steak medium. The flavor was incredible! Don't eat here for the... More

There is no heat source even with nightly lows around 40 degrees and the luxury comforter is nothing more than a bedspread. I had to get up a 6:30 to leave because I was so cold even wearing double layers and I'm from Montana! A $100 ripoff

We went with a party of 10 people on a Sunday evening in March. We were the only ones there and had the place to ourselves. It is a small establishment so I could see how on a busy night you could be 'crowded'. We had a variety of dinners, 35 oz Ribeye (that was cooked to perfection), ribs, lamb,... More

If anyone has ever followed or read any of my reviews they would notice one thing...I try to find the good in everything. Even when the experience starts bad, I can usually find something good to say. Unfortunately, that is not the case with the Highlander Bar and Grill. I had been wanting to visit the Highlander for some time.... More

I've been to the Highlander several times over the last couple of years even though I'm not a big fan of the place. The indoor seating area is cramped, the owner is eccentric bordering on plain rude (one night he asked if he could try a glass of the wine we purchased for our table with no offer of a... More

My wife had shrimp and I had the filet and shrimp. The filet was top quality and the shrimp are not the run of the mill shrimp. Large and delicious. Our service was tops with the waitress checking on us often. My wife is allergic to dairy and we made reservations on line. They were very helpful with her allergy... More

My husband and I were introduced to the Highlander a little over 2 years ago by a dear friend of ours, and it has been our favorite place ever since! The people are friendly and make you feel at home, the service is prompt and with a smile, and the food is consistently delicious! The space inside is intimate and... More

Food was good. But was like eating in a cramped box car. There were too many tables for the space. people cont. brushed by chair, and could not sit across from date, instead looked up to see wall with painting of Goat. Not the romantic, intimate Valentines Dinner. For the money and the drive, we will not go back.

Last spring my fiancé and I vistited here and decided that we would love to get married at this location. After months of planning, preparation, AND PUTTING MONEY DOWN ON CATERING, the owner decided 3 weeks out to cancel the catering portion AND told us we had to shut the reception down by 9 pm. Since there were MANY other... More
