Funky little restaurant in the north fork area that was hugely popular and really busy with tourists for dinner on a Saturday in August. Was a little put off by the fact there was no running water (how do the employees wash their hands and tidy up?!) and just outhouses, simply bc I am a clean freak, but the food... More

Who would have thunk? This place is in middle of nowhere and is a real treat. Small inside and has some outdoor seating. Excellent food. We were very hungry after a day of fly fishing, and had Sirloin, Steak Salad, and the daily special, Hot Turkey dinner. The real prize for me was the Huckleberry Pie. Outstanding. A real mix... As a town, Polebridge is a unique find. Not an easy place to get to. You won't find much in Polebridge except a Mercantile (amazing baked goods), a Hostel, an entrance to Glacier National Park, and the Northern Lights Saloon. But, a visit is well worth the effort. While there, eat at the Northern Lights Saloon. It is housed in... More

I had been to the Merchantile in Polebridge a number of times, but never to the Cafe. There was a waiting line outside of the cafe. It seemed like there were many loyal customers. We were able to get a table inside, they also have outside tables. While the inside is small, we found ourselves talking with many of the... More

Totally worth the trek to Polebridge. The day was absolutely perfect, and they have plenty of seating outside in the shade. There is a full bar with plenty of beer ontap. If they don't have the one you want, they offer excellent substitutes. Had a buffalo burger with bacon and cheese, and my husband had the elk burger. Both were... More

Roughly a 45 minute drive north of West Glacier, 22 miles south of Canada, and right in the middle of the most unique place I have even been. Rustic, outdoorsy, friendly, and unique describe this cafe & saloon, with outside dining right alongside the dirt road entrance gate to the far northern part of Glacier Park. This will remain one... Polebridge, Mt is just south of the entrance to the North Fork of Glacier National Park, way off the beaten path. Considering this, it is amazing how much traffic the place gets! But once you experience first hand the food and the service, you will quickly see why so many people come from miles around (and just down the road)... More

The rustic cafe was excellent and people were very nice. Lots of people with families eating, socializing, and playing volleyball indoor and outdoors. Our family ate there multiple times in our 3 day stay in the North Fork area.

I can't give enough of a positive review to the chef cooking pizza at the Northern Lights Saloon. I asked and all they said was his name was Marshall. Dang, son. Best pizza I've ever had and I could eat pizza for every meal.
