Be prepared for average service, if the special was not used up the day before you can bet it will be the special the next day - so food is not always fresh. Do not drink the water or anything made with it. Manager will get argumentative if he feels your dislike or unhappiness with a food item is not... More

Not only was the meal outstanding, the view could not be better. Sat with a view of the creek through a wooded frame that was just perfect. The appetizer was a lamb dish that melted in my mouth. Apple flavored cream sauce was wonderful. The buffalo shallots were so very tender and flavorful. Would go back again and again and... More

This place was perfect for us after a long day of driving, casual and comfortable with a nice bar. The food was very good.

I cannot speak to the food of this restaurant but can definitely speak to the POOR service. I reserved a table several weeks in advance for my parents, fiance, and friends as part of our wedding celebration weekend. One week before the dinner, Old Piney Dell called and said they had made an "error" and needed to cancel our reservations!!!... More

Excellent - Chef Eric is the best. We order this as it is our favorite with lemon butter caper sauce. We have eaten this favorite 2 times in the past month. The soup special is wonderful - avacado/crab cream soup.

Nice little surprise of a restaurant! The restaurant sits right next to a stream and wooded area. The food was great ~ try the bison!

Good menu and wines; quite different than most of the restaurants in town. Adjacent to a lovely roaring stream.

The first night we stopped by, they were not open (it was a Monday). The next night we showed up expecting to be able to order tapas as that is what was listed as a special of the night by the local Chamber but we were told they no longer offered that. Ended up having two of their German dinners... More

Ate here one evening based on a personal recommendation. Really liked it - lovely atmosphere, relaxed service (but efficient) and really good food. Couldn't get a seat by the window so missed out on the views but had a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
