My wife and I went here after dinner (though dinner can be had here too!) for drinks and dessert on an anniversary getaway. Our waitress was great and funny, and our desserts were divine. My wife loved her coffee, and I savored my Scotch.

We met bartender Jay at the bar and he recommended a really good wine, then we had a great dinner by the open window and listened to the rushing creek. The evening was wonderful! Great service and terrific food. We definitely recommend this rustic place.

Old Piney Dell is a Montana restaurant set in the beautiful Beartooth Mountains. Originally an old mining cabin, Old Piney Dell started being used as a cultural center in the 1940's, and was soon converted into a restaurant and bar. This has been a local secret for over 70 years!
