This place is the spot to be in Whitefish! Not only the service is exceptional but the people both staff and tenants are very refreshing.. my favorite martini is the "So Fresh" served in a martini glass instead of a regular glass. The Fungo pizza is also very unique and delicious.
Loved Latitude 48. You generally need to book, as it is very popular. The menu is extensive and offers a large selection of tapas-style share plates, as well as a full starters/entrees/desserts list. Plus there is a very extensive wine list (by the glass or bottle). The kitchen is open, so you can see the chefs at work. We chose... More
Besides regular dinners, they have what they call 'share plates', which are a bit larger than tapas plates. We had several, and the special of the day was the best meal we had during our two week trip. The special was a shared plate that was a crisped pulled pork over horseradish mashed potatoes with pan juices. It was PHENOMENAL!... More
After a fabulous day of golf at the Wilderness Club (I will look for that to review next) we were tired after the drive home and stopped in town at latitude 48 for a quick bite. Sat at our favorite spot, at the bar, in the back next to the open kitchen and pizza oven and chefs. 3, of the... More
We're told this is one of the hot places in Whitefish. Say it ain't so. The wait staff was indifferent, and the food was mediocre. I had the Bagna Cauda side of green beans and kalette that looked like they were burned with a propane torch. Everything else was just so-so. Maybe it was a bad day, but it seemed... More
The food is outstanding. We had 5 shared plates all were terrific. If this restaurant was in a larger city it would still be rated outstanding. Waiter was excellent. Wine list is good but tends to be on the higher end. We were able to find a good value and it was really good. We would go here a lot... More
I sampled several of the small plates offered for dinner while dining at the chef's bar. Fun to watch the action! The Chocolate Fix a delicious end to my meal
We had a superb meal in Whitefish, MT. The restaurant looked promising as we walked in -- nice ambiance, a little elegant, a little rustic, a little noisy (there is an affiliated bar downstairs in the basement with live music the night that we dined). The server seemed a little overwhelmed -- perhaps too many tables. After we begged for... More
Interesting, varied menu. We had the elk appetizer; it was delicious. Salad was very good. Staff was very accommodating to change the vegetable accompanying my chicken. The macaroni & cheese was absolutely amazing. The quail is very good but you just get one. Very nice experience except for one error on the bill that was promptly corrected.
