I had a pretty good dinner here. The regular menu was mostly comprised of old favourites, but in the end I went for some braised ox cheek from the specials menu.

Had two fabulous dinners - staff were extremely friendly & helpful, menu was extensive with daily specials and a great wine list. Food was of a very high quality but just too much choice😃 Cannot recommend highly enough - will definitely be back.

Four of us went for Sunday lunch. The food was nice although very expensive. I could not believe they allow dogs in where you are eating. I can understand guide dogs being permitted but that's all.

The Bear's Paw is a pet friendly venue and so yes dogs are allowed inside the property. There are dog friendly areas should you wish to dine and there is also dog friendly accommodation.
