We have been coming to the Rio to Voodoo for many years. We loved the food and the view. This time, it just was not as good at all. The lobster bisque, which has always been great, had something sprinkled on top. The best we...More

I have been going to Vegas for many years, but somehow missed this place on the top of the Rio. The filet and wine were excellent, and the outside lounge has one of the best views in Vegas. What's not to like?

The Rio seems to have fallen into a bit of disrepair since I was last there. The outside of the buildings are peeling. The elevator up to the roof sure felt rickety (and only one was working). But the atmosphere is nice and the view...More

This place was fabulous! Went for a birthday dinner with 2 friends. We had a good day at the tables and decided to treat our friend for his birthday. We spent some money but it was well worth it. Food, drink, atmosphere and the staff...More

Very overpriced food was served cold (the plate was piping hot, but the food was cold). When the steak was sent back, it returned overcooked. By then our companions had finished with their food and we ate it without further complaint in order to make...More

Dinner was not worth the $110 a head for large party. We were also not given the space that was originally promised.

They try to sell it as a casual dining experience, but noisy children are not allowed. You wouldn't want to go in flip flops and shorts but nice jeans and casual shirt would be acceptable. Most people are dressed up for the... More

You should be ok with dress shorts, but no jeans or sandals or t-shirts. A collared shirt should be worn as well. Women can wear just about anything. You could also give them a call when you get there and they would be... More

Description
Set on the 50th floor of Rio Las Vegas, VooDoo Steak offers a different approach to your average steakhouse. This Vegas restaurant may not be on the Strip, but it's worth the extra trip, as it sets itself apart with remarkable views and prime steaks and chops. Ideal for romantic, candlelit dinners or big celebrations later in the evening, you'll find the elegant, yet hip space is the hottest off-Strip steakhouse. Come hungry and keep in mind this isn't your average steakhouse. Favorite dishes include lobster bisque, considerably the best in town. The seared foie gras, braised Chilean sea bass, pan-roasted sea scallops and a great selection of dry aged, prime, and Wagyu Beef are other fabulous selections. Vegan selections are also available. The signature drink is the Witch Doctor - and it's literally smokin'. The dry ice potion consists of five rums and fruit juice in a fish bowl-type glass. If this drink doesn't cast a spell on you, we're not sure what will.
