We loved this place. It was pricey we had two drinks and two appetizers it was $100 before tip. However the drinks & Food were delicious and The view alone was worth the money. We called ahead for reservation and asked for a table near...the window.More

Booked a reservation at the Skybar way back in August for my husband's birthday in November. Just received a notice that they have sold out the bar for a function and are moving us to the Twist. It is now 2 weeks from our trip...and way too late to find anything else for that weekend. I tried to at least get a window table at the Twist and was basically told "we will try but no guarantees". No apologies or accomodation. At this point there is no guarantee they won't sell out the Twist to a group. It is really just unbelievable that a place like the Waldorf would treat people with such disregard and ruin a trip this way. The Waldorf does not care about service.More

We made a reservation weeks in advance, and we arrived a bit early. They didn't have anything at that time ready, but they said a window table was available in the lounge/lobby area outside the bar and we could be served there, so we grabbed...it. Great view! The drinks were good, but not exactly my taste. I have to say I was a little offended that the menu lists an upcharge for special cocktail ice. Seriously? They're going to nickel and dime on ice on a $30 cocktail? That's ridiculous. That being said, we were lucky to have a nice table with a view. It was a nice time.More

We showed up with ZERO reservations and were offered a seat at the bar. We quickly realized the view was better from the bar than from some of the tables... Then we got lucky because someone had a reservation for possibly the best table/view in...the house and they were a "no show". We were given THAT table. (Yes, on the way out this was rewarded with a nice tip too :) We tried some of their cocktails like "The strip" and "Pear of Aces" and they were pretty good. We also had a "Dos Equis" lager. - Prices are what you'd expect to pay in a place like that in Vegas...More

It starts with... We made reservations 2 months in advance and we called the week before the trip to confirm our reservation. When we arrived they said the reservation was canceled. They gave the excuse they didn't have a phone number! Outright lie! When also...requested a window seat at the time we made the reservation and understandably they could not guarantee one. However they gave us the window in the back and the one in the front stayed empty all night. It was empty when we arrived and it was empty when we left. Moving on to the waitress. She took an hour break without telling us and never did come back. We had to ask another waitress for our bill. I will make sure I tell everyone this place is a complete joke!More

We were house guests of Waldorf Astoria (and Hilton Honors members) and booked at Skybar weeks early. On early arrival we were given a table away from the windows and the view and in an area which has solid walls which obstructs the view. We...asked to move but were told that there was nothing available despite not all tables being filled at that stage. There was no offer to move us once something did become available. From the photos of Skybar, I assumed (wrongly) that all tables had a view but this is far from correct. If you can be guaranteed of a window (or close) table - excellent. If not, I would recommend going to one of the many other great cocktails bars.More

My cousins and I went to the Sky Bar in the afternoon for High Tea service. Everything was fabulous - decor, city view, service, and the food. Tea sandwiches in a wide variety; warm scones with clotted cream, lemon curd, and raspberry jam to slather...on them; and lovely little desserts!More

The owner of the establishment, Didi (who I believe does a lot of the entertainment himself) made very sexist remarks over the course of the night. In particular he commented that women should not drink as it turns them into “angry b****es”. This attitude made...us feel highly uncomfortable and to be honest served to cultive a somewhat hostile environment for women. While the act we saw “Soul Brothers Tenerife” were brilliant, they frequently perform in other venues and we recommend that any group with women that wish to view this act do so elsewhere.More

I love bars with views, and the Skybar on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria definitely has them. We made a reservation to be sure we had time to make it to our 7pm show. Awesome service at a table for two along the...window with fantastic changing colors of the mountains to the east as the sun set. We thoroughly enjoyed a sushi roll, shrimp taco and beef empanadas. The atmosphere was smart casual and relaxing--nothing uppity or night-clubby about it, just a very cool place to be.More

..of a proper rating, since I only came for one whiskey that they didn't have. The place isn't as uppity as I'd expect. They didn't have any Pappy Van Winkle...disappointing. Waitress said they haven't had it in about 2 years but haven't removed it from...the menu....?....Nice view of the strip. Can't say much else. Menu items seem like a lot...Had George T Stagg instead...More

It was all great. Kaden, the bartender, was like a host at a party. Very personable. He recommended the Meadows -- a Manhattan with tequila. I was skeptical, but it's the best Manhattan I've ever had. Of course, the view is amazing, almost mesmerizing, and...the music selection really made the mood. I'll be back! PS -- I highly recommend the sliders.More

We visited last September. It’s more of a bar but they do a small menu of food, ideal for sharing. Highly recommend a visit, takes you away from the crazy, noisy and busy side of Las Vegas to a quiet relaxed environment.
