Make a reservation, great location, dark, romantic style in a wooden look with candles and a violin player. Cozy and large tables, not too close together as is often the case. The food was very good, we had bone marrow with onion jam as a starter, followed by buttery tender filet mignon with baked potato. Our waitress was not particularly friendly and while we were still in the middle of eating the steak, she put the bill on the table. It's just strange that they still ask for such a big tip for such lousy service?!

Truly an exceptional experience from reservations to dessert! I was so happy we went with this steakhouse to celebrate my Dad's 70th birthday.
To start- the staff was top notch! We were greeted by the manager Tiny when we arrived and felt valued as soon as we walked in the door. Our server Courtney was the BEST!! So attentive - we never had an empty water glass but she also didn't hover. She was well versed in the menu and had great recommendations. She also brought out a candle in the lava cake for my Dad's birthday and took a pic with him at the end of the night because he had such a blast chatting with her whenever she was by the table.
We had the scallops and shrimp appetizers with sauces so delicious we ordered extra bread to sop it up! My Mom had the sea bass, which was so tasty, and my Dad and I had the filet which was cooked to perfection. The creamy horseradish to go with it was divine. My Dad ordered his Pittsburgh style which majorly impressed him! We had asparagus, garlic mash and sautéed spinach- all solid choices.
On top of the food, the restaurant is unique in design and they had a live violin/fiddle player that really added to the ambiance. There was a fun area in the corner near the bathrooms where you could take photos with swords and helmets.
While a higher end restaurant, I found the pricing to be extremely reasonable for the quality of the food, service and overall experience. I would 1000% go back and would recommend to anyone I know going to Vegas.

We wanted to try something new/different and off the strip for once. While an unassuming strip mall location, once walking inside you’re met with a fun, eclectic, medieval inspired decor. Not over the top and tacky, but creative and different. The guy playing live guitar was excellent and really set the mood!
Food and service were fantastic. The lobster bisque was some of the best I’ve ever had- a top dish among all others for the weekend. The 28oz Australian Waygu was decadent, the pasta was tasty, the sea bass was prepared sans-smoke at our request and we couldn’t have been happier. Our server Andrew was new but had extensive menu knowledge and made great recommendations. The lobster risotto and brussel sprout sides weren’t anything to write home about but in all- the meal was excellent. The sommelier was funny and wine pricing was reasonable.
10/10 recommend!

The food was fantastic well presented and cooked to perfection best meal we had during our week in Vegas. The staff were informative and attentive, the restaurant was very quirky with the furnishings and glasses. The reason for 4 stars not 5 is due to the location in a very undesirable area where Taxis refuse to go after dark. Unless you have an Uber app you may have trouble getting back to your hotel or home. We were lucky the waiter ordered an Uber so we could get back to the hotel. During the meal the fire alarm went off and we were told this was a normal occurrence as the restaurant was situated on the edge of a mall and the locals would set it off. I also have to say that the meal was also the most expensive meal we had during our stay in Vegas and based on the area feel this is overpriced. It was a great experience and have to say it gave us a memory which we will never forget.

The ambiance was so warm and inviting. Our food was beyond delicious. The manager Tiny and our server Nicole, as well as the other staff made for a well oiled machine and ensured our experience was top rate. Our table had the Porterhouse steak and smoked Chilean sea bass. Unbelievable flavor on each item. We also had salads, creamy spinach and Brussel sprouts. We splurged on dessert and it was decadent, especially the crème brûlée flaming! The cocktails were on point and well made. The smoking drinks in Viking horns were fun and a nice touch. Would definitely return.

We made the mistake of trying to "wing it" with our 40th birthday celebration to Vegas haha. Primal Steakhouse was perfect. Even though we did not have a reservation we were able to get there a little after 5:00 and find a seat at the bar together and have a wonderful dinner for 2. All the staff was amazing and super friendly and service was on point! Especially with Courtney. My boyfriend was being... Bougie.... And she entertained him with answering his questions and even swapping out the wine used for the sangria (forehead slap). Kudos for keeping it together for that! ;)
The meat is just amazing.... We started with the beef carpaccio appetizer and shared the 28 oz Delmonico (omggggg I'm drooling later remembering how awesome it was). We added the scalloped potatoes and the macaroni and cheese. Both of which were divine! Luckily we both had our favorite so we sampled both but then got to eat the rest of the one we liked the best haha. The Delmonico with all this food was a perfect size for us to enjoy and not leave anything on the table. We absolutely loved the candle lit ambiance of the entire restaurant and the drinks were fun if you like to have something a little special! Sometimes it's nice to just add a little flare to a few of the drinks to make it fun to try everything! I'm a sucker for dry ice effects haha.

Go here! Worth the trip from the strip! My son wanted to celebrate his birthday with “best steak in Vegas” - this recommendation lived up to its reputation. Meats were perfectly cooked and delicious - had fillet mignon and elk. We also had spectacularly presented beef carpaccio. Great decor and son loved posing in Viking like gear with helmet and swords, drinking from the horn. Shout out to the friendly staff. All made a great fuss over my son’s birthday but I could see they were efficient and lovely to all the guests. Johnny our server was so helpful and attentive. He really made our night. My son walked out feeling like a king and fully satisfied. Best steak we’ve all had!! You can’t go wrong for a special occasion here.

Great restaurant for almost any occasion. I sat at the bar with a bunch of friends and received exceptional service from the whole staff. Anthony was our primary server/bartender. He was efficient, friendly and attentive. I ordered a margarita and it was made perfectly. The NY steak I ordered was cooked just right and I recommend getting the brussel sprouts.

We were excited to go to Primal while in LV. After searching a lot of places the reviews got us there. Reservations were easy thru Open Table. Not sure that was the best way to go as we were seated at a 2 top near the bar that was on the path to the bathroom. Maybe call ahead? Bartenders and waitstaff were great and service was really quick. I wish we would have mentioned that we were in no rush as our appetizer came before bread service and our steak came before we got our red wine. The scallop appetizer was good. The bread was fine. Most disappointing was the Delmonico. It was more like a sirloin and very tough. I would have mentioned it to the server or manager but the server never asked and the manger never stopped by. Drinks and wine were good. Some of the other dishes and steaks I saw looked amazing. I feel like Primal is well suited for larger groups vs. an intimate evening. It’s a cool place, well suited for a golf trip, boys night, or couples. That all being said I’m sure they’d have fixed our issues if I’d have asked. Sometimes your first full day in LV wears you out and when things aren’t perfect you just want to finish a meal and get back to the hotel.

My friends saw this spot on a TicTok and decided to try it out because of the "vibe" - described as Game of Thrones with candles, drapery, swords and medieval decor... but we discovered one of the best dining options to be had in Las Vegas! The restaurant is definitely looking for that vibe as described including guest use of the swords and helmets for photo opportunities and play acting and the drinks are served in a variety of tankards, horns, and other assorted fun themed presentations.
But the atmosphere is nothing compared to the food presented here! Appetizers included a wonderful collection of 5 star choices and the three we chose (lobster bisque, shrimp scampi, and bone marrow) were not only presented perfectly tableside but the flavor and attention to detail made for a fantastic start to the meal. Fresh bread was served with warm bacon jam (delicious!) and then the main courses came. All of the steaks were outstanding - comparable to the best steak house... the lobster risotto that had an entire lobster tail atop a well seasoned and perfectly cooked bed of risotto and my side of brussel sprouts had a delicious char with great flavor. While we barely touched their menu choices of steaks (which included a tomahock option at 35oz!) , every meal we saw being brought to other tables matched the level we had for our meal.
Our server, Arianna, did a fantastic job not only with explanations and descriptions for helping us decide on the food options but also was spot on with water, wine, checking in, etc. The service was as amazing as the food and the music added such a fun atmosphere to an already impressive experience. Austin Lightfoot was performing on an electric violin and his skill and personality interacting with the guests made the night!
Overall- this is a spot you want to hit while you are in vegas! a 5 minute ride off-strip that was everything you expect from the best dining options in a very competitive town.

Excellent atmosphere. Good food. Great service. The server was friendly and helpful. We were able to try on the helmets and swords which was cool. The food was good but not great. The steak was cooked well but could have used some seasoning. For a $300 meal for two, it just seemed to miss some key flavors. 5/5 on atmosphere, 4.5/ 5 on service, 3.5/5 for food.

My wife and I were looking for something off the strip. We had a poor experience with another restaurant the night before, so to be treated like we were by Parker and the staff at Primal Steakhouse was amazing. My wife had searched and found Primal and thought it would be different.
We arrived at our designated reservation time and were seated early, so that was great. We were greeted by everyone as we walked to our seats. We were sat towards the back by the bar.
We started with the scallops which tasted great. We both ordered a drink, smoked old fashioned for me and the drink in the horn for my wife. They were brought quickly and tasted very good. We ordered the smoked NY strips and I had a lobster tail. We ordered a side of fries. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the fries were good. The only complaint of the night I had was whatever white sauce was on lobster, but I asked for a thing of butter and that helped with the taste. I've never had anything put on a lobster tail so maybe that was me.
We ordered a couple more drinks and moved on to deserts, as my wife had heard that the chocolate lava cake was tasty.
My wife had mentioned on reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, and when we ordered the lava cake, not only did they comp that, but brought a very large strawberry macaroon as well with "Happy Anniversary" on it.
I asked to speak to a manager, and I think they might've thought I was going to complain as he made a joke when he arrived at our table, but I really just wanted to convey our enjoyment of the whole evening and how their staff made us feel. I don't write too many reviews, but I will be writing a very poor one for the previous nights dinner and then I really wanted to write this review.
AMAZING JOB Primal Steakhouse, we will be making a return visit on our next trip to Vegas.

Wanted a nice steakhouse and this didn't disappoint. We went for the fillet mignon which was first class - like cutting into butter, vegetables were also delicious.
Michael our server was a lovely gut, very welcoming and accommodating.
The gut on the violin was excellent, playing lots of modern songs added to thw subrb atmosphere

The ambience here is unique. Love the dripping candles and the violinist! However, the tables are jammed so close that my fiancé and I could not sit next to each other despite the hostess trying to move the table to give us a little more room.
I had made this reservation at least a month in advance and noted it was to celebrate my birthday which was that day. There was no effort to acknowledge or make it special, no candle or happy birthday. In fact the dessert, chocolate lava cake, which was very good was supposed to have a flaming display fizzled out within 5 seconds of lighting it.
I had the filet mignon which was good and cooked perfectly. Price point for filet was fair at $50; however the porterhouse at $95 seemed overpriced and not so special. We had Brussel sprouts and baked potato. I would not recommend the sprouts, pick something else.
Overall, this seems to be a good place to go with friends but not for a romantic dinner.
Note to management: business casual dress code should be encouraged and T-shirt’s and shorts discouraged!
