The special is a good value for the price, available 6Am-11AM M/F. Service was reasonable, and pleasant, but not exceptional. Food was good. Place was clean. Would recommend.

We always enjoy Mel's. The menu variety and cheerful service offer a pleasant uncomplicated dining experience. The San Francisco burger is my favorite and always good.

This place is a bit hidden in Boomtown...but the feel of this 50's shop is awesome the food and the people are great. If you are near the area, take a swing by, you won't regret it!

We go at least weekly (Boomtown location) and have never had a bad meal. What made me go to the review was THE PUMPKIN MILKSHAKE! Unbelievably DELICIOUS. I tried one at another restaurant and didn't even come close. They blend with real pumpkin pie at Mel's. The staff are always nice and friendly and management are always walking around ensuring... My second time eating at Mel's, first breakfast though. The breakfast burrito I had was great, my family all enjoyed their breakfasts as well. Decently priced at less than $50 for four of us. Service was a tad slow, but it was 10am on a Sunday and the place was packed!

This location is a diner from the old school, thick malts, great french fries, burgers and more. The 50's-60's ambiance is authentic. Great place to grab a bite.

This was an excellent restaurant that had a number of various breakfasts that I tried. The Ham steaks were unbelievably big and delicious. As was the Monte Crisco.

Good burgers and fries, nice atmosphere just like the old soda shop days. Good service quick to be seated and attentive help.
