WOW, if you have had the fortune to have Italian Gravy, lucky you, but this is authentic!! Very few ingredients, which is fabulous. Gravy, homemade raviolies, pasta & great meatballs!! Don't miss, fun!!!

My husband lived in Italy for three years and is very picky about Italian food. He was in heaven here. He had the meatballs and ravioli and was so over joyed. The service we had was great as well. Our daughter had spaghetti and loved every bite!!

Great food, had minestrone soup, garlic bread, lasagna, and pepperoni pizza.. So good. The bartender, Deno, is a delight and the place is charming inside... We will be back... YUM

Love this place. stopped before heading out to the airport. Homemade ravioli was a treat. Cozy, friendly. When we return to Reno we'll be back. Maybe try the lasagna. You won't be disappointed. Forget the pricey Italian at the casino. This is the place to go.

It's far too rare to find a place like this. Casale's gives a taste of old world Italian dishes and charm. From the cash only register to the family run bar and kitchen, the character runs deep and rich!

If your looking white linens don't bother coming. This place reminds me of eating out of someones house that they decided to convert to a restaurant (probably what actually happened here). The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. It's not going to make the list for Zagat but it should make the list for DDD. Go there, enjoy... More

Funky bar with celeb pics and lots of signatures on walls and ceilings. The food is homemade daily, pasta, meatballs, and sauces, pizzas. Don't expect new age Italian! But this delicious. I'm having an anchovy and garlic pizza next time! But I will eat it alone. My husband hates anchovies. Cute interior with checkered table cloths. But not a lot... More

Be sure to try the "Health Spa" pizza with cashews--it was delicious! Not sure what they put in the marinara sauce here, but it tasted like they included bone marrow and it was fantastic. If it's hot, dress light. The window a/c units aren't enough to keep it cool when it is full of customers.

We prefer family owned, non-chain restaurants. No casinos either. Two locals recommended this place and we were very happy to have "found" this place. The prices are good. Wait staff are all siblings/cousins who serve with genuine enthusiasm. The ravioli/pasta maker is Uncle John (His mom is the long time owner.) I had the pizza. The crust was crunchy and... More

Don't let the outside fool you. This place has been serving traditional Italian food since 1937. I had the lasagna which is cooked to order. My wife had the ravioli with meat. The portion size will not leave you hungry. The value is excellent. The inside is small and cosy. If you want authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place... More
