I used to live in Reno and would go to Louis' Basque Corner. Louis' has never disappointed. The food is always good (and definitely Basque). The service is great and so fun to eat "family style" and meeting new people.

I had the Lamb Dip for lunch and it was just yummy and outstanding, the bartender who was one taking order for lunch was friendly and and easy to talk with.

Always a favorite during the Reno Nugget Sheep show. They do a great job with large groups. Lamb chops or leg are always a favorite for supper.

This place as local and unique. It was both. Took my staff members there after recruiting trip and they loved the lamb and the quaint atmosphere. Nice selection of wine for the rack of lamb and lamb chops.

Three of us went to Louis' (walking distance from downtown Reno) for lunch last week, as we could not get a dinner reservation. The lunch menu is essentially the same as dinner and I think a touch cheaper, so that is a bonus. Seating is...More

We have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally took the plunge. We walked in and thought the interior was really cool. Lots of exposed brick and old wood. A well seasoned hardwood floor. A long bar that seats about 20....More

This is the right place to go if you are hungry and feeling sociable. Food is served family style, so we were joined at our table for six by two other groups of two - dining with strangers was brief, as they soon became friends...More

No, unfortunately not at the bar but there are high tops set up close to the bar and they are welcome to eat there. I personally would rather take the child to the dining area in case it gets loud from the drinking customers.
