Ok, famous lobster buffet. For $37! Famous for....little selection. Famous for...tasteless lobster. Famous for....lobster that is over cooked and shriveled. Famous for....peel and eat shrimp with the mud vein still in and head attached. Famous for....store bought calamari with factory breading(just like your store bought onion rings). Famous for...dried/overcooked/cold meat server(ings). Famous for....mushy sald bar with lackadaisical toppings. I would... More

I've have written a couple of reviews on the Boomtown buffet and they weren't very good. Now it is close to four stars just not in a variety to do that. The food has improved I don't know if they've got a new chef maybe an actual chef rather than just cooksor new recipes but it was tasty and good.... More

I didn't know you could get lobster this tasteless. So overcooked, it was like trying to eat rubber. Neither of us could finish the first lobster. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!

I did not enjoy the "Famous Lobster Buffet" the 1st time I went and I did not enjoy it this last time! My warnings to my family members regarding the buffet weren't heeded so I was obliged to go along. Needless to say they were very much disappointed from the small selection of foods to the disgusting, claw less, chewy... More

I went on a Friday night for the lobster buffet. The lobster was served without claws and did not taste very good. There were no crab legs or clam chowder. The tri tip looked better than it tasted. The desserts tasted like something you would get from a grocery store. I will not be coming here for dinner again. The... More

I ate 4 lobsters. They were a pretty good size, but not much flavor. I wish they had different sauces to pour over the lobsters. They also have other stuff, but i think it defeats the purpose.

The lobster was tough from being overcooked. The rest of the buffet seemed to be all previously frozen foods. For the price($37 per person), you would expect a certain quality. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. There are much better places to eat in Reno for much less $$.

I wanted to eat there so bad.. but the line was already too long at 5pm.. And we were too hungry to wait that long.. so we left. So go early before you are too hungry
