Excellent all around. We stopped here twice on our road trip as we went through Winnemucca. Both times the service was excellent, food very good and very prompt. Large portions, varied menu and all the staff pleasant and friendly. Well managed - everyone busy but smiling. Thanks!

Just a couple of blocks from our hotel, we visited this restaurant for breakfast both on the way to Reno and on the way back. The food is delicious and plentiful. The biscuit and gravy was awesome and other members of our group enjoyed the eggs Benedict. Good service, too.

The food is good and the service is very good. Clean bathrooms. Prices are ok, a little less than IHOP. We have found the atmosphere very nice. This is a sit down restaurant, locally owned, not part of a chain, which, imo, makes the place much more relaxed and pleasant. We liked it.

We have eaten breakfast at the Griddle since the mid 70's. We take an annual drive to ski in Idaho, and always go through Winnemuca. We ate there again this year, and something has changed. It isn't nearly as good as it used to be. Perhaps there are new owners. The potatoes had a funny taste. I think the cooking... More

Signs posted all over outside "no dogs". Looking at one now at adjacent table. Don't allow dogs at table at home. Certainly don't expect to have them in dining area where I'm paying to eat.

The breakfast here is amazing! Healthy alternatives, plus your standard eggs, pancakes, etc. The setting is an older-style diner with a lot of character. Very friendly staff. It's a staple! You'd be a fool to get breakfast anywhere else.

We've been traveling between Boise and Sacramento for many years and always made the Griddle our regular breakfast stop. The last few visits have been less than stellar with a noticeable change in the quality of food and service. Since they've expanded into Boise we still frequent the Eagle location so it's easy to compare the two, Winnemucca isn't what... More

We found this spot through trip advisors reviews and were not disappointed. In fact it was the best breakfast on our 10 day trip... and one of the best anywhere. The housemade corned beef hash is as good as you can find anywhere, and there was a special of roasted veggies that was amazing. I've since heard that the place... More
