We enjoy eating in the upstairs of the barn. It is our go to place for burgers and fries or onion rings.

The Corner House Inn almost looks like a stereotypical New England place. And you have to want to go there; it's not really on the way to anywhere. Having said all that, the food is excellent and the ambience is unforgettable. The specials are uniformly delicious. Great service too. Worth lookoing for if you're in the Lake Winnepesaukee area of... More
This building feels incredibly safe and the staff is friendly when you walk in. I was permitted to order one-half a meal at half price and yet what they served seemed more like a full meal to me. Not every restaurant has good french fires like they do here. The band performing here was extremely mellow. The upstairs room I... More
Our waiter Dan was very funny and keeping up with our sense of humor for the evening. Our meals were all amazing and the service was great also. We have been many times and this evening was by far the best! My meal reminded me of a nice home cooked meal. Looking forward to going back another evening!
It is our "go to" restaurant as there are always menu items we like, service is good and ambiance pleasant. Their "Wine Not" Mondays are a real bargain!
We travel an hour to get there but make a point of doing so several times a year. The best lobster bisque I ever ate. Even the breadbasket is delicious. Meals are tasty with a lot of variety. If the weather is nice, sit out back. A surprising discovery and worth going out-of-the-way to find.
We go here probably once every few months and every time the ambiance and setting are so quaint and cozy. The food is terrific and reasonably priced. They also have a bar upstairs which is nice for a pre dinner drink.
This is a quiet restaurant but bit out of the way for us. We still like to go one time while on vacation. The service was good except when the waitress over filled my wife's champagne glass and it overflowed. I had the haddock dinner and it was good. My wife had the lazy man lobster and clams in a... We needed to eat dinner at 3:30 as our daughter was performing at the nearby Barnstormers Theater at 7:30. The hostess sent us upstairs and we had the whole place to ourselves with great and fast service. The food was excellent...I enjoyed the Bar B Q brisket, my husband the seafood stir fry and our daughter a lovely entree salad.... More
I expect restaurants at this level to offer more locally sourced foods and beers. The entree was good, but the veggies were mass produced mixed veggies from a bag. In late June, the local farms should be turning out an assortment of produce to provide good fresh options. Like several of the restaurants we visited in the Lakes Region the... More
