At Kat’s Deli in Hatteras we picked up a Jurassic Pork Sandwich ($11) for lunch. It was generous in size and similar to a Cuban. The strange part was it was loaded with mayo. We had the onion tended consequences. It was really good! Quick service. They have covered outdoor dining. The sanwhich had great turkey on it, it wasn't regular deli turkey meat. The balsamic onion jam was a little heavy for our liking but the sandwich was...still really good. Would definitely eat here again.More
Clean, friendly staff, indoor outdoor dining, diverse menu, a joy to eat here. The sandwiches, soups and meals are enough so as to get 2 meals from or serve 2 people. A definite stop on your trip to Hatteras. Everyone is treated as a friend.

Don't be afraid to get soup on a hot day. Scratch cooking in a deli with massive sandwiches that need many napkins to eat. Super cool people. Pro-tip, order here to take on your trip home, it beats fast food in the car.

Had the Club sandwich twice while visiting last week. The sandwiches are loaded with so much meat,cheese and extras!! One sandwich can easily be shared by two people. Great value!!
