Be forewarned - you won't be able to come only once! Small bakery, all freshly made, and many, many delicious breakfast and dessert items to try. Our only complaint - they open at 5am and sell out of most popular items early. Our favorites are...the glazed monkeys, and the lemonade and almond croissants, but we're anxious to try the key lime bars next time!More

Picked up baked goodies for four people around 6:30a.m. for early getaway from our condo rental. Owners are so friendly and laid back. We chose cinnamon buns, cheese Danishes, and croissants. They were all very good, but think we were a little disappointed in the...cinnamon buns. The Danishes could have been a tiny bit bigger, but they were delicious and flaky, and you could taste the butter in the crusts. The croissants were heavenly.....light and flaky as they should be. We will definitely return next year......probably more than once! Note: We were there the week of May 7-14. (Nor'easter) Overwash closed the road from Oregon Inlet to Rodanthe for two days, two houses on the beach in Rodanthe collapsed on the 10th, and ferry service shut down for a couple days. A fiber optic cable was cut and we were without internet, cellular and land line service from around 2pm Friday the 13th to 5:00am on the 14th. The owners of this bakery had some really cool t-shirts to sell with a cute sentiment about NC-12 and a lightning bolt like the symbol for the band AC/DC. Ask about them!More

We visited here each day on a recent 3 day trip to Hatteras. Everything we tried was delicious - chocolate chip cookie, oreo brownie, cinnamon roll, molasses cookie, pecan pie/chocolate bar. But the best treat of all was their key lime bar - out of...this world!!! The owners are truly gifted. We also ate their desserts at a local restaurant which purchases from them. The Key Lime pie - Wow! - the best ever!!!More

My first time in the place was packed, I felt a bit overwhelmed when it was my turn. I was getting a treat for traveling friends. and stated that, I had to ask for a box as opposed to bags for almost $70 worth of...baked goods. Stoner cheesecake could definitely use more peanut butter, snicker doodle cookies excellent, muff tops great, other purchases could use some work Advice great bakery, but you never know when or who will walk through the door and change your life be kind to all.More

We bought some muffins and other baked goods when we got to Hatteras. We were very pleased with the quality, especially that the items weren't overly sweet from too much sugar. Great place!

If this isn't the best bakery on the planet, would love to know what is. Everything we ate here was supremely delicious. Thank goodness it is only opened 4 da/wk in the off season or we would have doubled our weight. We tried many scrumptious...items, but our favorite had to be the Key Lime Pie. Pick some up on the way to Ocracoke.More

Very friendly staff, and lots of options. This was our first visit and we bought cupcakes. They were really very good. They did not taste that fresh, though, and we were surprised they weren’t amazing given other reviews. Will definitely go back and try other...treats our next visit.More

Even if you don't stop in here, if you have dessert somewhere in Hatteras, it likely was made here. Great desserts and pastry. Creams and fruits are the best. Open super early.
