It's tucked away but worth seeking out. Lots of local foods that are expertly prepared and served. Clearly the best restaurant in the Claremont area which we have found. We had the tortellaci appetizer, which was wonderful. Best burger in the area with natural grass fed beef. Highly recommended!

We dined here, in a private function room, after a friend's funeral. The buffet was very good--turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce, lasagna, Atlantic salmon, with Caesar salad, butternut squash, mashed potatoes, and rolls. Everybody got one dessert--apple crisp with vanilla ice cream. Beverages, including beer and wine, were included in the package the family provided for us. It was... More

Pleasent setting! Good service! Great food! Moved away in November, but one of the places that will always be on the list of places to go when we return to the area!

Tessa was great! She was great at joking with my friends and very helpful. The food was enjoyed by all. the boys had chicken and pot roast. I had a bacon burger and chips.

I live nearby, and there are few really good restaurants from which to chose. This particular Common Man is not one of them. The ambiance is amazing both indoors and out; however, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired.

Wide variety on the menu. Good food. A little pricey. Had to ask for rolls. Never got the white chocolate they used to give at the end of a meal.

We recently ate here and had a great dinner. The decor and architecture of the building are outstanding. The waitress was very helpful with recommendations on what to order. I had the seafood casserole, which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the pot roast dinner and said it was the most tender pot roast he ever had. Service was good,... More

We met friends here for an early Sunday dinner. They were very welcoming and the service was excellent. We all had different things with menu items including vegetarian and Gluten-free optionso. They have a separate GF menu. We spent about two hours enjoying the food and the company and never felt at all rushed. We look forward to going again.

Ate here twice while staying at the Common Man Inn next door. The restaurant is located in an old mill and offers great ambiance that is noticed the minute you walk in. Staff is friendly and attentive from the minute you walk in. The food is decidedly average and comparable to any chain restaurant that I've dined at. The first... More

I just wrote a review for the restaurant on the Inn's site, as the restaurant didn't come up when I googled it. I loved it here. So cozy, big fireplace with couches and chairs around it. Nice size bar. Plenty of tables. When you order your food you are told to go help yourself to crackers and cheese, and spreads.... More
