I keep giving this restaurant a try and keep getting less and less impressed. First of all, their "fresh squeezed" margaritas are tiny and come out of a pre-made mix. Secondly, if you try to order a regular menu item in the bar you have to move 10 feet over to the dining room for them to accommodate. What does... More

There is definitely something going on with this restaurant that doesn't bode well for continued success. All of a sudden this place cannot afford to give you a little basket of tortilla chips with some salsa to hold you over until your meal arrives?? Nada. That will now cost you an additional $2.99. Really? Every Mexican restaurant we have ever... More

They have been around for a long time, and serve consistent food. It is not authentic Mexican, its tex mex, which is fine. It is what most Americans know as Mexican, and want. Hermanos does it well. They have got it all down pat. If you went there 10 years ago, and had the garlic chicken nachos (big favorite), it... More

Hermanos has been on our short list for places to eat in Concord for years. We consider this to be the most authentic* Mexican food available in the region, and where the menu does deviate from the familiar offerings, it's in the direction of culinary creativity, and health-consciousness. (*We are not of Mexican descent, nor were we raised in the... More

The waitstaff here will, with all sincerity, tell you that there are no Mexicans working there, including in the kitchen. If you are looking for so-called authentic Mexican food prepared by the natives, this is not the place for you. We were primed to find a competent Mexican restaurant since the several in our area have gone downhill fast. I... More

Great margaritas. Fresh, fresh ingredients. The guacamole is fantastic. I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, home of many great Mexican and New Mexican restaurants, and Hermanos definitely compares very favorably!

Had a late lunch, early dinner here today. We've been before, but many years ago and I didn't remember my impressions. I read the reviews and figured it would be fine. I was disappointed. The food wasn't too bad and was on par for anything East of the Hudson River. I had a combination taco enchilada plate with beans and... More

Wmur posted Hermanos as having the best nachos in the state as per the results of a survey. I had to check it out. Friday night and we were seated right away in an almost full restaurant. That was nice. I was all set to order the nachos, when I noticed that queso fundido was on special. Since I'm a... More
