I was bummed to see they hung "new menus" only to realize that means "new prices" and less selection. The best part of the Green Bean was the selection of bread you can choose with your sandwich. They have taken that choice away and all your sandwiches are on chibata bread. Bummer, less choices and higher prices. I will not... More

One of the most popular lunch spots in town so expect a line if its anywhere around mid- day. This is a stand in line to place your order kind of place with a small courtyard for outdoor dining. The gorgonzola and spring green salad is a favorite.

Great artisan sandwiches. Cafeteria style. Only con is the staff is not too friendly. Very long lines between 12 AND 1:00 to go early or late. Indoor and outdoor seating. Cool vibe.

The green bean used to have many choices in bread and used to have avacado as an option. Now you can't even get west or whole grain. I was ok with the long waits and cranky cashier, but now that the quality and selection have gone down hill, this long time customer will not be back unless selection and quality... More

We love having lunch at this restaurant. The soups, salads, salads are delicious and varied. Get in line, get a tray, order with pleasant servers who make the items. A cup of soup is one ladle, a bowl is two. Half salads and sandwiches are available for some items. The new spring salad of greens, strawberries, roasted pistachio nuts, goat... More

The soups are killer. Bread is fresh. Always tastey specials to keep it interesting. Can get crowded at times.

This is a hidden gem if you like soup's and sandwiches. Nice spot overlooking the river. On warm days you can sit at a table in the courtyard.

Food is great, menu is original and unique sandwiches. Prices are good. The staff is not very pleasant and could benefit from customer service skills. I have gone here for years and the staff is seldom pleasant. The ones that were great have all left.

This quaint little restaurant is a good choice for soups, sandwiches, and breads. Order at the counter and try to get a window seat overlooking the local falls. Poipuar with the locals and worth recommending.
