This is one my favorite places to eat! Food is always delicious and staff are very pleasant. I especially enjoy the desserts. They are mouth watering to look at and extremely decadent. I always refer my friends and family to eat here.

Friends of ours raved about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try with them over the holiday weekend. Two of us had a 2 lb. lobsters stuffed with shrimp and scallops. It was wonderful. More than enough for one person. The other 2 had beef. Both were happy with what they got including the portion size. Service... More

I met a buddy here for lunch recently. We both had to try their Portuguese fisherman's stew. He had just recently returned from a trip to Spain where twice he had dined on paella. He pronounced the Galley Hatch stew the closest you can get to paella in New Hampshire. It was loaded with all the shellfish and salmon you... More

We stumbled across the Galley Hatch on a Sunday morning. The waitress raved about the angus corned beef reuben, so I tried it. Great sandwich, nice and sweet corned beef on Marbled Rye. We were offered a decent array of sides (fries, onion rings, cole slaw...) and i was waffling. The waitress offered a half and half order of fries... More

Stopped after an appointment down the road. Typical New England bar. The clam chowder was good. The steak and cheese sandwich was also good. (Soup was better). Fairly big menu. Lots of locals at the bar. I would come back. Nice bartender...

My brother and I ate at this spacious restaurant for lunch. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is large though spread out well such that conversation is easy and quiet. The service was excellent. Most importantly, the food was delicious and arrived in a timely manner. My salmon burger was nicely cooked, had a delicious sauce, and the veggies on... More

Located on route 1 this sea food restaurant has a great selection. It has a small bakery type shop out front and another restaurant above. But when along the New Hampshire coast line you must try local fish which as we did. Our server was great fun and very helpful making it a very pleasant meal all round. It was... More
