As a local, I always enjoy the commodore found at this pub. Whether you're traveling through, or just coming in at the end of a work day...this place hits the spot!

My husband and I were passing through and saw this place on our way out of town. We were famished and so we decided to eat here. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and thought that the biscuits were stale. I ordered the pancakes and the center wasn't fully cooked. Aside from the food the restaurant had a nice... More

I live fairly close to Lancaster and have heard many good things about this restaurant. When I went to eat dinner there was only one waitress working the bar and dinning room, she seemed upset that i wanted to sit in the dinning room instead of the bar! Apparently she couldn't handle working both although the place was nearly empty.... More

Food was good and there was plenty! Waitress staff were not very accommodating: 1. We asked for seating for 8 and one infant. The place was not full yet they said "we are not allowed to put tables together." 2. When we were paying the bill, my husband said the bill would be split but they ran off with just... More

I was visiting the area with my family for a little scenic getaway and to celebrate halloween . There were not many restaurant choices in town. A small bakery and a bar that doesn't except debit cards! We chose to try out JL Sullivan's and it was delightful! I asked my waitress what she would suggest and she replied the... More

Great seafood chowder. My husband had a Rueben which he was very happy with, and it looked great. I had the chicken tender appetizer which was average. The beer selection is usually good. They some of their own. Pub atmosphere.

The servers were very friendly. It was a nice and clean Irish Pub environment with warm and friendly staff. Liz, the bartender and the entire staff were welcoming and friendly. I'd definitely stop by again when in Lancaster. Only down point this time of year is every place in the town seems to close before 10 pm during the off... More

We have been traveling for over a month (with a month to go) and have had MANY meals out...this has GOT to be one of the BEST Fish & Chips I have EVER had! The batter was light, the fish was flakey and the service was outstanding!! Elizabeth took care of us and did an excellent job!! Would definately come... More

We loved to have Magner's cider again, and I had fish and chips. Add some mushy-peas and it would have been perfect. My husband had the chicken tenders--which were plentiful. The fries were excellent, like they were double-fried? There aren't a lot of restaurants in Lancaster, so I highly recommend Sullivan's. It had a very nice atmosphere too. Truly like... More
