We eat here about once a month, nothing fancy but solid fresh seafood and friendly staff. I've had the chowder a few times and its usually a solid B+. This time is was BAD, very sour tasting (it was odd, not off like bad clams, maybe sour milk/cream). Server wasn't around to check and by the time she brought our... More

Great looking lobster rolls! Good clam strip dinner! Also have had steak tips, other fried fish and combo meals here. Never disappoints!

We stopped for a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday recently. Nice timing, it wasn't too crowded and now that many tourists have left the state we were seated quickly at a booth. Having visited Johnson's other locations, we know that we can get a decent meal for a good price with a nice selection. I had the shaved prime... More

we went here on a Friday, I have beef tips, way spicy and kicked up. Sent em back for haddock nuggets. They were ok but nothing special. Good part if there was one, Is you get super sized servings.

My wife and I have been to Johnson's several times and always had a decent visit. We just went this past Monday and it was buy one get one free on the fish and chips. The portions were large, the bread was good, and service was great. I am a very basic seafood eater, so I usually stick with haddock.... More

My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner. My husband had pulled chicken sandwich and onion rings. He loved them both. I had chicken parm. You get plenty. Enough for lunch tomorrow! The service was great. We will definitely go back. We need to try the ice cream!

This out-of-the-way restaurant is well worth the trip if you are anywhere in the NH lakes region. You won't find anything fancy here, but the fare is excellent. The haddock was as fresh as anything you'd find on the coast, and my steak-eating companions were equally pleased with their dishes.

The fish was fresh and crispy and delicious and their fries were crispy and good. There was not too long of a wait for the food and the wait staff were nice and attentive. The place is clean clean clean. Husband got a burger and it was not too shabby. You simply MUST try the onion rings...they are TO DIE... More

It was busy so service was a tad slow. However, the food proved worth the wait. My wife was VERY pleased with her salmon...served hot with a tasty dill dressing. My BBQ pulled chicken was also quite good for a simple sandwich. The chicken was moist and the sauce was flavorful. We will come back to try the seafood.
