A trip to new London is not complete with a meal at this establishment ! Even if you just stop in for a drink and the cheese board , it will be memorable!! Great gift shop

Stopped by for lunch while cruising through town. We sat at the bar, the wood top was beat up but with a great lacquer on it. Such a cool look...that bar top had seen things. The Bartender was great serving us french onion soup, urgers, sandwiches and a great Rueben. As always, the best way to start is their pretzels... More

Excellent food and service in a warm and comfortable spot. The current location opened after the location at Dartmouth closed. The same menu I believe and the same warm and friendly vibe. The House mustard with pretzels before dinner is a must-have.

We stopped at this interesting little pub-style restaurant for lunch recently. The menu was varied but typical and included a group of interesting daily specials. We had the 'famous' seafood chowder and the sandwich special. Very good. The service was first rate, the decor very traditional, and there is a small gift shop next door. All in all, an excellent... We have had lunch here several times and they were great !!! But it seems every time we go for Dinner, and we go eat early, they run out of several dishes ( whether its an entree, dessert or app or what ever) . The home made in house mustard is the best !!! The staff are very friendly, it... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way home from a weekend in Burlington Vermont. It was only a couple of miles off of Rt. 89, and broke up the 3 hour drive. The building is a very old looking farmhouse, typical for New England. Besides being a bit dark inside the atmosphere is really nice. We ordered nachos as... More

The service here is very friendly and the place has a lot of regular return customers. The food is excellent, and the hamburgers were particularly good. The beer selection is outstanding. The food is pub-style, fresh and ample. We would return again and again.

We truly enjoyed our visit to Peter Christians. It was Colby-Sawyer homecoming weekend, and we were told it would be a 35 minute wait, but we were seated in less than 15 minutes in a cozy corner booth. We really liked the feel and decor, and felt like we were in a tavern back in the 1800's. Everyone in our... More
