On our way to Maine we stopped in Portsmouth for breakfast VonSolln is small, and tucked into a city block, but well worth stopping. When vacationing, we only eat local. VonSolln exceeded our breakfast expectations. After having lived in Vienna, this was a must stop. the pastries were as tasty as they were pretty! We shared a biscuit with cheese... More

We adore this coffee shop. They have the best mocha around and a case full of delicious sweets. We just wish that they were open at night. Many an evening we have wanted to stop here for an after dinner coffee but can't because they are closed.

As enjoyable as it can be to sit outside watching the people, this time I think I will sit inside and relax in a corner with my iPad, content to sip on a hot mocha!! Nice to go there with a friend, but also a pleasant place to be alone.

This our new favorite spot in town! We heard about it from a lady at the dog park. We went there and they have. List of coffee and tea selections. My husband likes hazelnut coffee and lattes either have been good for him. I like water and gelato. The small is definitely enough for a treat. There are wood floors... More

This is a great find that we stumbled on in our travels while on vacation in Portsmouth. Authentic German pastries and sweet things, friendly service and cozy atmosphere made this a very warm and inviting place. So glad we happened to find it by accident! In a town filled with cafes, we were very happy to come here!

Really not as good as some other places in town. They also look at you like you're crazy trying to get a for-here mug.

Stopped in for a cuppa and felt like we were in Europe! The pastry selection looked fabulous, although we did not indulge! The coffee was supreme! So smooth and fresh! Easily accommodated me with almond milk n my latte, too! Service was very pleasant and helpful. The large front window makes people watching enjoyable!

This place really does feel like you're in Europe. The coffee drinks are excellent, and the pastries are delicious. Nice service, cozy atmosphere. It's a lot more intimate than the crowded, more generic coffee cafe up the street from it.
